I purchased this item with coverage for 1 pc for lifetime. I then found it else where for the same price that covered 10 pc's and 10 moble devices for lifetime coverage. Not a hard decision to return this unopened item and buy the other one that covers more devices.

"Lifetime" Subscription to Vipre Internet Security is a Very Misleading Promotion.
First let's get the technical review out of the way. Regrettably, this security suite performs exceptionally well, and without slowing down your PC to anywhere near what products from competitors do (Norton, BitDefender, in my personal experience). Why regrettably? Well, unfortunately, I am one of those people that believe in integrity, honesty and forthrightness, with which the people at Threat Track seem to take issue. Ergo, their shameless promoting of a "lifetime" subscription, when it is NOT a lifetime subscription at all. Read the fine print, and understand that this "lifetime" refers only to the "lifetime" of the PC on which it was originally installed, so if you're planning on replacing your PC, or upgrading it yourself in the next few years, do not spend money on a product that will be useless on your next piece of hardware. This is not my "interpretation" of the pitch, it is DIRECTLY from the people at Threat Track themselves. Jerk-offs. So that's why I say regrettable, because I finally found a security suite that's acceptable, and the company turns out to be run by A-Holes. Just my luck. I suppose I could submit to becoming a zombified human like most of those belonging to the species have become, and give them the money even though they suck, but I just can not bring myself to do it. If you just either purchased or built a new PC with the latest, greatest hardware, the "lifetime" product is a good value at $79 (see below). If your PC is older, and nearing time for major upgrading or replacement - save your money.Oh - BTW...save yourself MUCH cash if you do decide to purchase any of their subscriptions by first checking out their website directly, which generally runs promotions, or other vendors, where the going price for the "lifetime" product is about $79, as of August, 2015.

I love VIPRE. It was easy to install and now I don't have to be bothered or worried about purchasing yearly internet security programs. I have bought and put VIPRE on both my laptop computer and my mother's personal computer. I great buy, highly recommend.

Although I paid for a lifetime, my own lifetime will be cut short with this obnoxious product.
Beyond a doubt, the most obnoxious and intrusive anti-virus/internet security software I've ever used. I receive constant, annoying messages to inform me that Vipre has protected me from a Trojan virus. I get about 30 or 40 of these balloon messages per day whether I'm online or off, makes no difference. Vipre support has had me scan my entire computer, using VipreRescue. When that didn't help, they had me remove Vipre from my computer and reinstall it. Still, same problem with one improvement, however. At least, I'm not getting the constant Vipre message that I need to restart my computer to get rid of some phony infestation. Vipre has been worse for me than any actual viruses I've had over the years. Currently, I have Vipre turned OFF, and it will probably remain that way until I can find a different anti-virus program to replace it. P.S. After all the above, one day I was unable to get online at all and, to make a long story short, I wound up paying $100 to a company to fix the problem. The problem turned out to be Vipre itself. Once it was removed and Microsoft's free anti-virus program, Window's Defender, was installed to replace it, I was able to get online and have had no problems since. So not only did I pay a useless "lifetime" expense for Vipre, I paid an extra $100 to undo the damage it caused.

Worst one I have ever used, plain and simple, look elsewhere.
About the most worthless software out there for antivirus. This software stopped updating just months after installing it. After several calls and using the online chat option, countless hours with worthless technical support people wasted I conclude this is worthless now. Years ago it was great but now it is failure after failure. Problems loading, problems with definitions updating ( the most recent problem), which by the way causes the email protection and firewall to go down leaving you open to attacks while the dumbest technical people I've seen try and fix "the problem"...your computer...your software..oh..we need to remove this or that...for Vipre to work properly..I give...There are much better options out here...I run Malwarebytes and kaspersky internet security 2016 without the first problem or fix now...isn't that funny, yet with Vipre it sometimes wouldn't install and once it did the definitions it runs on wouldnt load and actually disappeared from the software???Really? People, save yourself #!..money, #2 time, #3 problems look elsewhere,
