APDTY 141567 Coolant Bypass Overflow Hose (Outlet To Reservoir; Original Design)

Excellent replacement hose; had to use wire clip from previous hose; did not come with wire fastening clip. Then I dropped wire clip and it could not be found! Cut a piece of wire off of garden fence and problem solved. Searched on line for wire clip, no results. Old school make-do finished the job. Too bad hose didn’t come with replacement wire clip. But it is an excellent hose.

Product received is not the same listed a does NOT solve the leakage issues due to the same OEM poor design...

This is the way GM should have designed the hose connector. Replacing a two piece connection with one makes perfect sense. Took less than 10 mins to change out and stopped a leak that was fighting for weeks. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

This is the third bypass hose I have bought for my Cruze and this one actually worked and didn't leak at the connections. This replacement has been redesigned to make the the plastic parts into one piece, eliminating the goofy two part connection to the water outlet, which refused to seal. I even bought another new water outlet thinking the one I had previously replaces had somehow changed shape, spending a lot of money on this simple connection that Chevy did a terrible job designing. If you are having problems with a leaky coolant bypass hose, buy this product not the GM design, this works!

This was exactly what I needed. This fit perfectly in the 2015 Chevy Cruze and replaced the coolant overflow line that connects to the engine cooling manifold. It completely replaced the need for the nipple that normally requires a clip. Make sure to remove the old o-ring and check for any debris from the dry rotted plastic that may be left behind from the old connector.
