Works really well, great for show tape

This tape stretches and makes an excellent compression dressing. I use it with abd pads for a leaking wound. The bandage will remain in place for long periods of time. It keeps her clothes/bed dry for longer than most bandages we've tried. She has allergies to tapes and adhesives so it does cause some redness and irritation after prolonged use.

This stretch sticky foam tape is used in hospitals instead of bandaids or gauze. It stretches to hold tight. It’s foam so the injury is padded. It also sticks and doesn’t fall off. However it comes off easily. Great!

Wide enough that you don't need three strips to secure 4x4" sponges, mostly waterproof, and reasonably durable. Doesn't try to take skin off when removing and it'll last at least a day of reasonable activity.It's just the sort of thing you'll wish you had when you need it.

We used it to cover a dressing wound while in the shower. To ensure it works:1. Shave off the hair around areas that need protection. It works best on skin only. Any hair will provide holes for water to seep in.2. Cut a Ziploc freezer bag large enough to cover the wound. I used a gallon bag. I cut off the zip and the bottom so it became a sleeve for the arm.3. Use the foam tape to seal up the ends of the bag to the skin. We used a fair amount of tape to overlap the edges so no water got in. Donʻt scrub the tape.4. Gently remove tape off skin and bag. Do not rip tape off. It works a lot better than paper tape, but you shouldnʻt rip it off.Overall, this tape is exactly what we needed to protect the wound when taking a shower.
