Leveled out my 1994 Suburban
My 1994 "Burb" was dragging it's rear after years of use. I did not like the look at all. I installed these shocks and mounted the air bib on the OEM hitch. Only 35 pounds of pressure and the truck is level. I look forward to being able to level up with a full load also.Install was straight forward and there was plenty of spaces to run the lines back to the rear and keep them protected. There was plenty of air line to have my choice of mounting spots for the air bib. Pay attention to the special note that most GM trucks mount the air fill forward. I saw why, the right rear shock filler would hit a cross member if mounted facing back and the suspension hit the bump stop. I mounted the left shock with the filler facing rear to protect the air fill from possible flying rocks from the tires.

I add a little more air and it stays nice and level
Installed on a 1999 Yukon. Installation was simple and straightforward. I used the single valve which was included with the air line kit in the box. I run about 50 psi for everyday use. When I am towing a trailer or hauling a lot of stuff in the back, I add a little more air and it stays nice and level. I have run Hijackers on other vehicles in the past and they always perform well. They were as advertised and shipping was fairly quick and reasonably priced. One trick I use that has worked well for me is to smear a little dish soap on the O-rings when assembling. I have never had them leak at all. If I remember correctly, this tip used to be included with the instructions years ago.

Such a great product
I have a Chevy work van. It has a full build-out utility body inside. When I haul materials, the back end was low. The Hijsckers brought 3.5 inches of rise and still room for more. They feel solid and the overall handling has improved.I had the Hijackers on my old Nissan P/U and they were great a long time ago. They are still doing the magic.

Does the job very good
Good product & price and easy to install, I understood that these shocks are to maintain ride height with extra carry-on loads "not to jack the height", that being known they work very well on my 2008 1500 Cargo Express even compared to the factory shocks "when they were good" including the dampening rate, no more bottoming and smooth sailing on the highway and roads........Very Nice!

Does not fit
The application states a 1999 Suburban. My suburban shocks are in a "pocket" at the top and these are too large a diameter to install.

I love these shocks
I love these shocks. I use them on my full size Chevy van. Most of the time it's not very loaded, but when we take trips or use it for hauling it's nice to be able to add some air and improve stability especially on the highway. The stock shocks can allow some unsettling sway when the van is loaded and travelling at highway speeds. Installation is pretty straight forward. I didn't even have to jack up my vehicle. I ran the air line to my gas filler compartment. It fit right beside the gas tank filler hose. It's convenient but protected and out of the way.

Quick and easy installation. I raised my Savana van 3" in the rear to keep my hitch and mud flaps from dragging every time that i was on uneven pavement. I did have to increase the regulator on my compressor to 120 psi to get this desired height. Sure was a lot cheaper then what the spring shop wanted to rebuild the rear springs.

Does the job
Instructions could have been better! Im still not sure about the o ring set up but it seems to be doing its job. I replaced a bad set of ac delco air shocks with these. Installed in about an hour.
