This was my 1 year old Malinois' first bite sleeve. With no hesitation, she knew exactly what it was for. The material is sturdy. The internal handle seems to be secured well. The added padding is a little too big for her right now, so we haven't used it. Viper has already ripped one of the stitches out, but I don't think that will make much of a difference for a while. She's not a working dog, or a schutzhund dog, or a protection dog. This is another tool we're using to burn some energy and allow her to use her teeth for what they were intended for. For what we need it for, it's perfect. For young dogs, it's probably great. For a working dog or competition use, it's probably not what you're after. Viper and I love it.

This is a great bite sleeve, I just started training my two puppies and they LOVE it!!! It is awesome for the price. It is still in one piece for the moment. The sleeve is two pieces, that can be separated from one another. The bigger inside sleeve has a handle on the inside. The outer has a handle on the outside. Which is nice it makes it easier to grip. It maybe not be as tough as the really high dollar items, but this one has made it through the first few days with my Malinios, so I think that's say'in something! I'm happy with this purchase and would recommend this to others.

My dog loves to play tug-of-war. Used to get my arms chewed up. Tried the other brands that look like long sleeve welding gloves and they dry to pawn them off as dog bite sleeves. They would last maybe 2 minutes tops before the seams tore at the wrist or fingers.This is holding up with daily play 3-4 times a day. May have to replace in 6 - 8 months or so, but well worth it compared to having scabbed up arms and scars.

This is more of a personal problem but my dog loves velcro and the velcro strap being on the side the dog is biting on distracts her and she goes specifically for the little strap to "rip" the velcro. If this strap was on the inside of the arm where the handle is I think it would be a better spot and less of a risk of the dog ripping it off as well. Other than that it seems decent enough and the dog loves it so how can I complain? Seems safe and durable for a mid sized dog.

This has worked so well in training my own personal protection dog. The material is strong and durable and the price was fantastic.

The media could not be loaded. Item has very poor quality material ,used once on GSD and not durable at all. This should be advertised for puppy training only. This is too dangerous. Since the Velcro was not securely designed.

I love this bite sleeve! It’s thick enough to make my Malinios bites ok. The first one I got did tear from a stitching flaw but they were quick to replace with no hassle. I would definitely recommend this bite sleeve to others
