Prada Luna Rossa Eau de Toilette Spray (5 oz) is a citrus aromatic fragrance for men, launched in 2012. ## Description

Prada introduces a new masculine fragrance in Sept 2012, named after the sailboat and the sailing team "Red Moon" or Luna Rossa, which participates in the American Cup competitions. The new fragrance, considering its name, draws its inspiration from the world of extreme sailing, prestige, marine nature and passion for innovation and victory. The composition is developed around the main note of lavender by perfumer Daniela Andrier of Givaudan. Intensity and freshness of accords are emphasized by the use of classical notes in new, innovative ways. Those notes include lavender absolute and bitter orange in the top, clary sage and spearmint in the heart, and ambrette absolute and ambroxan molecule in the base.

Review: Great Scent! - This is my all-time favorite men's cologne - not overbearing, light-scented, and long-lasting! Though a bit pricey per bottle, a large (5.07 ounce) spray bottle lasts me a few YEARS, and I apply it EACH DAY! I just wish I could find it in a travel-size for trips/vacations. (They used to sell it in a package which included some scented Razor Balm and a travel-size cologne spray bottle, but I haven't seen it sold like that in over ten years.)

I have bought it from Macy's a couple of times and I cannot tell the difference if it is a knock off. Which I am sure it is not. Those that claim it is probably have never really purchased it before. Or maybe they got a bottle that had been sitting in a warm place for a while. This does have alcohol in it and will breakdown over time. I can tell you, I love it, she loves it, I will buy it again. It is light and crisp and is a great everyday fragrance. I get compliments every....single.....day on it. I would definitely recommend the purchase.

It smells and appears totally authentic, so if it IS a knockoff, it's a damn good one (but I do really think it's legit). Came in the original box, sealed. The picture on this page is a bit misleading - what's pictured is actually the 3 oz bottle. The 5.1 oz bottle looks different (doesn't have the ribbed metal covering), but what I received appears consistent with what the 5.1 oz bottles look like at other places (compared with the photo on Macy's website).
