Thomson Pottery 16-pc. Black Quadro Dinnerware Set One Size

I bought two sets of this dinnerware from Bealls. When they arrived, one plate and one mug were broken. That was alright because I really bought them for the salad plates and bowls since I already had black dinner plates from a different manufacturer. The remaining seven coffee cups I took to my office. I think they only hold one cup, 8 ounces. I prefer bigger cups for use at home.Bealls reimbursed me for a whole set which was way beyond what I was looking for.The plates come out very nicely in the dishwasher. Some reviews I read on black dinnerware complained about water spots and fingerprints showing. That isn't a problem here. The dinner plates are like a square plate with rounded edges. (See photo.) It is hard to tell the shape from the stacked dishes photo provided by the seller. The bowls and cups are round, however. All in all, I am happy with my purchase. If anything breaks, I don't have that much invested and I will just buy another set. In fact, I think I will just go ahead and order another set for the inevitable breakage I know I will cause.See my photo of a set table, too. I think it has a classic look. Since my table and chairs and adjoining kitchen have black appliances, it all looks great together.

Within the first week of using my set, I already managed to break a large plate. However, I realize that it was a slippery combination of pottery and soap suds on wet hands that did it, so I don't blame the set. (After all, it IS pottery, not plastic!) I intend to buy a 2nd set so I have at least one full set and a few extras in case any guests come over one evening. I luv the color since it goes with my decor and these are SQUARE plates, which is kinda' hard to tell from the pics online. The price is fantastic!!

These are nice looking dishes but one dinner plate was broken and one dessert plate badly scratched. I thought I would order another set if these were ok, but not sure I want to take the risk.

I was always looking for a pottery set that mirrored the cruel, hurtful and dark view outlet on the world I harvest. But the mirror finish on this fine dinnerware perfectly reflected the evil inside me

I bought this set for my son. He liked it very much. Two plates came stretched and I was talk to return this set and get new one. We did not do it as son started use it immediately. He uses it every day. Good set for good price!

Feel nice and sturdy. All came intact, no problems with the finish. This is a good, quality set of dishes. Happy with purchase so far.

This table top set is so wonderful it will fit my new dinning table perfectly I ordered two sets just because I wanted to make sure I have the extras for all sorts of events that may go on in my place. I am even satisfied with the cups.
