Berkshire VelvetLoft Polyester Blanket (Full/Queen, Cadet Blue)

I love the soft & silkiness of the Luxury Plush blanket. I believe I bought the blanket in Taupe, and when you pet it (yes, that's what I said; you can't help yourself - it's a good thing it's in my bedroom!) one way, the nap turns to a lighter, silvery fawn. Seams are well-stitched - straight, no hanging threads or holes where spool was changed or beginning/end of hems. Will probably buy more for Michigan summer night use & air conditioning chill. Very well made. I love it and my cats adore it. My only complaint is that it's much thinner than expected.

Love the softness and comfort of this blanket. However after the FIRST wash (gentle cycle) it got fuzzies all along the edges and has snags ALL over it. I wash it ALONE and on the gentle cycle. It looks awful but we are using it. I will not buy this blanket ever again. :(

I'm pretty sure heaven is lined with these. That is all.

I can't even begin to say how happy I am with this blanket!! It's super soft. I hate heavy blankets and this one is so light, it feels like you're sleeping under a cloud yet keeps you nice and warm. I'm planning on buying four more for my family members for Christmas and I will probably buy a few more for myself in different colors. I can't say enough good things about this wonderful blanket. I own several Berkshire blankets in different weights and bought everyone heavier Berkshires several years ago which they are all using now. Wait til they get these velvet ones!!

This is amazingly soft, and the velvet is just silky and plush to the touch. For a very light-weight blanket, it's surprisingly warm! I'd assumed I'd need my quilt over the top, and I don't at all! I absolutely LOVE it! This is the best blanket I have EVER had, and I'm going to be giving it as Christmas presents to ALL my family this year!!!!

I have several Berkshire throws and love them so much that they are often Christmas gifts. I have noticed over the years, however, that they are not as thick and warm as they used to be. And if you don’t want them shedding everywhere, do NOT dry them with heat! Not a problem with the ones I bought 6 years ago, but learned my lesson a couple of years ago with the lighter ones. Have this on my bed and though not snuggly warm as I was hoping, it soooo smooth and soft that you can’t help but pet it! Gave this review 5 stars because this is not the seller’s problem

Very soft and very warm, my grandson loves the feel and warmth of his new blanket. Over the past couple of nights here in Philly it has been cold and my grandson has had on his bed the top sheet and the Berkshire Blanket and I was worried that he wasn't warm enough, but he's said that he was very warm, so I guess we made a good choice of picking this blanket for him.

Arrived 4 days early. I'm so glad it did 'cause it's cold around here. The color "wheat" is so beautiful; kind of sun shining on a shimmering wheat field (too corney?).
