NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUPConcealer Jar, Cappuccino, 0.25 Ounce

I just bought the green to tone down blotchy, red areas or reddish tiny broken vessels such as those around my nose and the yellow for bluish or purple discolorations under my eyes. I already own and use the fair color concealer which I use for general coverup such as brown spots. I really like the Nyx concealers because they are super gentle on my skin which is sensitive and prone to Rosacea flares. I also love that they contain no silicones such as dimethicone as I tend to get plugged pores from products with them. The only thing about not having silicones, however, is that it may be a tad harder to spread the concealer. I have had zero breakouts from them as well as zero irritation. I do find it a bit of a challenge to blend them properly since if you use too much they can get cakey especially after you've had them for a while and they get a little bit dryer. I think using a soft brush such as the Techniques brand concealer size brushes a must. I found they work much better if used sparingly and blended well. You can always add layers of coverage once the first layer sets if you want. If I use them directly under my eye, I find they settle in my fine lines, so I stick to using them about 1/4 inch from my eye and down and this doesn't happen as badly. In the eye region I use much less concealer than the rest of my face such as my chin or around my nose where I can use more without creasing. The green works well for me on reddened areas, but nothing is perfect. Same with the yellow. Be sure to let it set well before adding more or it can actually rub off which makes it pointless. I suggest practicing with any colors you wish to try out before you actually use them before going out. And blend smoothly to prevent caking or applying too thick. I'd much rather blend them too thin than use too much. My favorite is the fair as it can be used anywhere to disguise discolorations. I have one in my purse, 1 in the bathroom, and 1 in my travel kit. That way I'm not constantly transferring the concealer from place to place. The price is right and the end result is better than other concealers (both cake and liquid) that I've tried.

I have dark purple/blue undereyes and I’ve tried so many color correctors and concealers throughout my life. (I am 60) Once I learned about color correcting creams and liquids, I started searching for the one that workedthe best for me, to first minimize the darkness under and in the inner corners of my eyes, before putting on a concealer. This is the absolute best one I’ve tried and I’d pay a lot more for it! I didn’t realize that it said concealer on the container until I was telling someone what I use and I looked at it. It is a yellow dense “cream” that does conceal the dark areas around my eyes. In fact sometimes I have had something interrupt me while putting on makeup and when I I come back to finish I forget that I hadn’t put a skin-color concealer on because this product is yellow and goes on yellow but once patted on it doesn’t look yellow. I put on a few “layers” on the darkest parts, and it doesn’t get cakey or flake. But I imagine someone with less darkness would only need one swipe and pat of a brush and/or finger/sponge. And if you choose another skin color concealer to go on top, this product works perfectly with any number of those types of concealers! I have several, and switch it up always trying to figure out which one of THOSE works best for me.

I have been using NYX products for a few years and they typically don't disappoint. This concealer is no different. It is a thinker formula and full coverage concealer. I am quite fair and have pretty dark under eye circles as well as patchy redness around my nose and chin. I have tried multiple products to try and cover problem areas without sinking into my fine lines and pores. Everything I have used has either not covered well enough or settled into lines and pores and looked cakey. This product is great at covering fully without looking cakey. I also find that it blends out wonderfully and does not wear off, get patchy, or change colors during the day like some products can do. Plus I do not need to set the product if I don't want to. I do like the NYX HD concealer wand better because the packaging is more convenient for me but everywhere was sold out of my shade and I was out so I tried this product out. I gave this 4 stars because I am not a huge fan of the potted packaging. I have small fingers and it is hard to use my fingers to get the product out of the pot to apply. However, a small brush does work a bit better.Overall,Pros: full coverage, long wearing, does not settle into lines and pores, does not oxidize throughout the day, thick formula, blends out easily, good amount of product for priceCons: packaging could be better

Es verdad que no cubre porque es de baja cobertura pero se puede ir moldeando hasta llegar a la cobertura deseada y es mejor aplicar con una brocha especial para rostro y en este caso para productos en crema para tener un mejor acabado con e difuminado.
