an A-Z of all things UFOy
a concise a-z of all major ufo info for any budding ufologist . it covers all the major events up to print date ( 2004 ) in a concise summarized and informative manner .want to know what the "allagash affair" was ; want to know who are the "majestic 12" ; want to know where "the tower" is .. then this is your book .it shows pictures and diagrams where necessary and has all the agency abbreviations too . a good index helps you navigate the 340+ pages .my only criticism is a need for more info . but like all those who study this subject you always want more info .

and the print quality was poor.
Was bought as a gift so cannot comment on content. Must say it did not look much for the money when first opened, and the print quality was poor.

If this is an encyclopedia then I am a monkey's uncle.Big title and flashy cover but vacuous and a waste of money.

A fantastic encyclopedia of UFO history for anyone interested in the subject.
Even as a youngster I had an interest in anything to do with astronomy, space travel and UFOs. Like most young inquisitive minds I began as a believer and read every UFO book they had at the Chicago downtown library at the time. Even though I became a scientific minded skeptic; nevertheless, I still keep up with new developments in the field. When I saw this very interesting and informative book (The UFO Magazine UFO Encyclopedia: The most comprehensive single-volume UFO Reference in print by William J. Birnes) on Amazon for a bargain price I decided to purchase it.The delivery service was quick and right off the bat I loved the way this book was organized alphabetically from A to Z on places, events, people and incidents related to UFOs. Once I started reading this book it was very hard to put down because every section was so interesting. This book provides a clear and objective investigation on all aspects of the UFO mystery throughout the years.Whether you are a sceptic or a believer or something in between you will find this book a compelling and fascinating read. If you read only one book on UFOs this book is the one you may want to check out.Rating: 5 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Martial Art and Warrior Haiku and Senryu).
