Phonak DECT CP1 Wireless Telephone Hearing Aid Accessory

This is a great device, not perfect, not everything one could hope for, but a great device none the less. It does exactly what it says it will do and does it well. I would recommend it to anyone who wants an easy, reliable way to use the phone with Phonak hearing aids. I also have a ComPilot that connects with bluetooth to my cell phone. That too works well, but I find I choose this one when I'm around the house or office.What I like: Works like a regular cordless phone. Just pick it up, push the phone key to answer or call a number, move it near your head, and the hearing aids switch over and it just works. If someone is there in the room who also would like to talk to the caller, just hand them the phone and it works like a regular phone for them. Battery life seems good. I don't keep it on the charger all the time but still have never run into a low battery situation. The sound clarity I hear through my aids is great. I can't speak to how it sounds to someone using it as a regular phone, but I've not heard any complaints.Cons: Really the only cons are the same I'd have with any regular phone. Having had my contacts always sync to my cell phone, I'm always surprised when my regular phone doesn't know about my contacts. You have to program your most common numbers into the the phone(tedious like any other phone). I wish someone would invent a way to at least be able to import a list. That would also mean the caller ID would function against my contact list rather than just the regular caller ID that is sent down the line. Again, this isn't really a complaint about this phone. In this regard it is just like all the other regular, dump phones out there.

Great phone for those with compatible hearing aids to actually hear telephone calls clearly. Some quirks including:- To join in on a call, take care to press and hold TALK, same as you need to do to get a dial tone. Just pressing TALK effectively disconnects the current call.- The display does not scroll when entering long strings of numbers, eg, for automated answering services like from your credit card bank or pharmacy prescription service. So after a few digits you have no idea what you have entered.

I purchased the Phonak DECT wireless telephone for my father in law to use with his Phonak hearing aids. The product is not confusing, very easy to set up and use and, most importantly, produces fantastic results. For the 1st time in many years my father in law can make a call or join in on a multi person phone conversation with his family. He is a new man - this product is making a positive difference in his life.I would suggest this product for anyone who has Phonak hearing aids and has a difficult time on the phone. This totally replaces his old volume boosting phone. The DECT phone transmits clearly and directly from the phone into his hearing aids - great use of new technology.Hearing Accessories of Canada, the vendor, was also great to work with on this purchase. They are caring, professional and stand by their product. I highly recommend them.

I use Phonak Audéo Q90 312T hearing aids which are sophisticated and very capable of meeting my needs. This accessory solves one of the great problems with hearing aid wearers: talking on the telephone. The telephone was easy to set up and works beautifully with my hearing aids, giving me a crisp and understandable audio in both ears. This device, although a bit pricey, is a super find and one I will travel with. I also use a Phonak Roger Pen and find it fantastic as well.

This phone has allowed me to relax and enjoy a conversation on the phone instead of struggling to understand each sentence in a conversation. It works amazingly well with my hearing aids.

If y'all have hearing aids that work with this phone, the sound is incredibly clear. Easy to use, big battery makes it the perfect portable phone. Obviously, I am very pleased
