HALOSleepsack Cotton Wearable Blanket, Pink Ruffle with Flower, Small

I purchased the pink ruffle sleep sack because I was looking for a cotton summery sleep sack. I don't want to use micro-fleece in summer. We're a windows-open-unless-it's-too-humid family that lives in Wisconsin. It can get pretty hot one day then be practically snowing the next.I would rate the RUFFLE sack as a great spring/fall or cool summer nights sack. Due to the ruffle layer, the top is pretty much double the thickness as the sack and ruffles are both made of the same super soft and relatively thick cotton.I own several Halo SleepSacks as I have an older child who wore them, too. This one is just as well-made and sturdy. I love the upside down zipper, which is sturdy. The super soft cotton is amazingly cozy. They seem insanely large when you get them, but by following the size chart, you'll be surprised as your child does outgrow it pretty spot on. They need room for their tootsies to roam at night. My kids are active sleepers and needed sacks (not swaddlers) after only a few weeks of birth. They're sleeping cacti. ;)The one thing I think may bother mom and/or dad is that the double ruffle layer makes it bulky as you swing it out of bum's way for a diaper change. Some may just do it with the sack open, but I like to swing it off to the side to avoid potential catastrophes. It just seems to force my wee one in a more arched back position. Not a deal-breaker as I recall the thicker winter sacks doing the same. I have Halo micro fleece and Aden + Anais triple muslin for winter.Since I bought this with intentions for summer, I will still need a super lightweight sack. I will get a single-layer muslin sack and maybe a non-ruffle Halo cotton. If I were to redesign this sack for summer, I'd use a soft, fine mesh for the cute ruffles. I'm a ruffle-lover, so the ruffles grabbed my attention. I like extra details.Bottom line: I absolutely adore the cuteness and coziness of this moderate-weather sack. If you do A/C in your summer home, this is your summer sack. If you have warmer winters, this is your sack. If you have hot window-open summers and freezing winters, you'll need a lighter or thicker sack. It's a great wearable blanket for Wisconsinites like us as we have mostly 'coolish-warmish' weather.Half star removed due to the bulkiness of the Ruffles and a half star removed because mine came with a black stain above the flower, which was removable with Shout and some elbow grease.

This is the cutest sleep sack ever!! This is my first girl so I am loving the cute girly stuff, but it really is so cute. The fabric is soft and I love that it zips from top to bottom. The only complaint I would have is that after a couple of washes there were threads that had to be cut, I worry alittle that I might miss one and it get wrapped around something.

Great product at a great price. It looks adorable on and keeps the baby very warm at night. Highly recommend.

Nice sleep sack - I thought it was different from all the others. Nice summer fabric and frilly for the girly girl.
