I found the book well organized and very easy to use. Passed my certification without any trouble, though you do need to do the pretest and study ahead of time - the class assumes you have. The book comes with pocket card algorithms which are helpful for quick reviewing/studying. Make sure you get the newest edition (2010) as there have been changes to the algorithms.

ACLS can be very intimidating and over whelming, I liked the formate of this provider manual, I will actually use it to review off and on to keep up on myskill and knowledge of the ACLS protocol.It would be even better if it camewith a CD that contained questions pertaining to ACLS with rhythms, the type of questions one might find on their ACLS test.

I am a physician, needed text book for ACLS algorithms and this is exactly the book. I ordered another publication book snd compared , this one is the best I would recommend to others looking for material on this subject.

I needed this book for an ACLS class that I am about to take. I cannot speak for how well it will help me for the class/test/job, but I can say that there is a lot of information compiled into this book. I like the tabs and pocket-guides that come with the book. The only reason I am not giving it a 5 star rating is because I find it to be a bit overpriced for what you get for your money.

This book is really nice. Pages are glossy and easy to read. Explainations are great. If you study this book you will pass your ACLS test. MUST BUY!This product came with a CD that was really helpful.Note those who are taking the test concentrate on the algorithms in the book. It is extremely helpful!

I ordered and received a 2006 ACLS(Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)manual which I didnot realize that it was out dated.It's a terrible thing to put up an out of date medical knowledge item for some one to learn. This could be possible medical liability consequences.Out of date cloths you can still wear,but matter to save lives should not be out of date. The item was almost free beside postage but that is not the point.

Has all info you need to know about acls. Also came with the pocket card which is $26 if you buy it alone. Very happy with the purchase.

Great book with a lot of great information, love the sticky tabs to put in it to help flip through the information. Just wished it had a little more EKG strips with each scenario, but overall a wonderful book and very helpful.
