Snapit Lite Large 5-25ml for Medical Professional

This is basic plastic and I'm not sure it will stand the test of time. However, it works very well on 10ml ampoules making them much easier to open and also much safer as it leaves a clean edge. It retains the top of the ampoule which can be popped out into the sharps bin. Unfortunately it doesn't work as well on 5ml ampoules. It will open them but it won't retain the top. The 5ml top tends to fall out wherever so you run the risk of cutting yourself finding it.The fact that this is plastic with a seam down the sides makes me think it might just be a matter of time before it comes apart and ends up taped together. I have yet to see how this stands up to the test of time. It seems an awful lot of money (£15) for such a basic item.For reference, the ampoules I was using it with are: Heparin 10 ml ampoules and Taurolock 5ml ampoules.
