tl;dr Probably great for 1 3/4" or smaller, not so much for 2"The brackets and inserts are made really well and seem to use good quality materials. Mine arrived in one of those flimsy plastic envelopes so the box inside had broken open. The aluminum pieces tumbled around during shipping which chipped off some of the black coating. (I get small indestructible things in big boxes with bubblewrap/peanuts but heavier metal pieces come in an envelope?) I purchased these to mount an LED light bar on a 2" diameter Warn Grille Guard Tube. Out of the box the bare brackets will not fit around it. I had to grind off the first two teeth on both sides of each bracket to get them to fit the bare pipe. Adding the included protective 2-sided tape on the tube made the separation between the bracket halves too big for the included screws to span. Rather than do more grinding, I bought four longer screws (M5x30) to bridge that gap. Tightening down the longer screws eventually pulled the brackets together to within about an 1/8" separation which looks fine and doesn't move at all. The end result is a very solid mount for my light bar but getting to it was a bit of a hassle. For the price I didn't mind the extra effort to make them work. I'm sure these work much better for the smaller diameter tubes.

GOOD TO HAVE FOR ADDING EXTRA ACCESERYS

Product is well made and versatile. Good for light duty applications. I bought these mounts for my 4ft 5150 LED whips and the rubber inserts are too soft and crush and wobble out as the whips bend back and forth from riding, eventually working themselves out all together. I have replaced their provided rubber with a hard plastic from work and the mount is much more solid. My only worry now is the strength of the single bolt holding the clamp halves together. I will replace that bolt with a grade 8 bolt and eventually upgrade to a proper hard mount 1.5" size without any rubber inserts. I think this would be perfect for most folks applications, just not my particular situation with the weight and torque generated from off road riding. I'm sure the rubber is made soft to conform to more bar sizes, but I needed a more positive lock on the bar with zero motion.
