This thing powers the unit perfectly. Only con in a ridiculously bright blue LED light on the front. Since you sling is generally near your entertainment are this is unwanted light. Covered it with black electrical tape problem solved. Lost a star cause it required extra effort.

Even though flimsy, the product works well but for a short time. Either the box or the product itself causes it to work only for a short time. I'm buying 2 at a time for that reason. However, the price is very low and that, for me, makes up for it.

This worked great to restore my Slingbox to working condition. However, this is the second one I've had to buy in 6 months and I expect I'll have to buy another one 6 months from now when this one goes out.

It got my Slingbox working right away .. I just wish the blue light was not as bright ... now where did I put my gaffer tape/

Second time ordering this adapter for my Slingbox Pro HD. The first one lasted about a year. This one lasted about 3 months.

I placed my order on Dec. 27 and received the adapter on Dec. 29 via First Class Mail. This ac adapter is replacing an original Ktec brand ac adapter for a SlingCatcher. The replacement ac adapter works just as well as the original one at about half the price of a new one from Slingbox. The cord on the replacement ac adapter is a little shorter at 46 inches than the original (60 inches) but this is not a problem for my installation.

This product arrived and immediately when installed, solved the power problem on my Slingbox Pro HD. Unfortunately, it lasted just over a month before the power failed again. Amazon was good enough to give me a refund, and I ordered another to give it a second try. The second cord arrived today, again fixing the problem and powering the Slingbox. I will update this review in the future, hopefully with good news.Update, the second cable has also totally failed after one month. Although working initially, I went away on a trip and was unable to access the sling box. On my return I rebooted, as the power light was out and it fired up again. The next week I went away and the same thing happened. Now it will not power the sling box at all. Don't buy this product if you want a worry free solution.

I gave the cord of my 2nd slingbox to my daughter as her slingcatcher power cord at school failed.This replacement cord was much less expensive than OEM and works fine...The blue light indicates it is on and is very bright. it could double as a night light.it is in a different room from our bedroom, so not a problem for me.

Fast delivery seems to be working for now....
