Will this work for a 85 cj7?

You would have to check with Equus. They make one for GM, one for Ford and one for Mopar. I don't know what manufacture Jeep uses.

Will this gauge work correctly 10 to 70 ohms?

I have use these, and the work great for me. And they do have different ohm gauges. I have 2 install that use different ohms.

No clue. It didn't work for me.

Does it work with factory sending unit ?

Depends on the car. It needs a 90 ohm sending unit.
