This worked great for my grandma. She wanted somewhere for her phone while she is driving, but the problem was that her cell phone is a little flip phone. Most of the phone holders like this are made for big rectangular smart phones, and I didn't want her fussing with deep pockets.This holder fits her phone well, and she liked having the option to hang it from the vent or windshield. She chose to hang hers from the vent, so I cannot say how well it functions from the windshield.

This little pocket works well in my car to hold my phone and gate fob in a handy spot without having to dig around to find them while driving. I use the option to have it hang off the air vent which works well for me.
