Laminated Flooring Stair Tread (04 Kits per Box)

I did a lot of research before deciding to try this product. After completing my project, I am very satisfied with my decision to purchase this stair tread system. I had to do a lot of measuring and cutting, both width and length; also both stairs and risers, and the product was very easy to cut with no chipping or flaking. My one bit of advice if you are considering purchasing this is to use a high-end adhesive that is recommended to be used on flooring. When I started the project, I used a low-priced general construction adhesive thinking it didn’t really matter… but it does. Before I completed installing the stair treads (there was a 4-month summertime recess) some of the steps started coming loose with just medium use. After switching to the high-end adhesive everything now seems great. As you can see from the pictures - what a wonderful upgrade! By the way, the three boxes (4 per box) I received were all in perfect condition.

I replaced our dirty carpet with the oak flooring. The hardest part for me was sawing the nose off the old steps to make it so the new flooring would fit snugly. We absolutely love the new steps and I added a clear non-slip tread, so no one would slip down the stairs. I wish I could have ordered 6 steps instead of groups of 4 because now I have 2 extra steps that I don’t need. (That’s why the 4 stars instead of 5.) The stairs are so beautiful and easy to clean now!

Easy to put down and turned out great. Purchased the Maple and a perfect match to Maple hardwood floors.

Very bad quality. Half of the stair treads that arrived were broken, replacement refused. Had to buy more in order to finish job.

I have three steps down from my laundry room to the back door. The four piece set was perfect! I even cut my wood laminate floor and butted the fourth step up to the door sill. The size matched perfectly! I bought the Merbau color, and it matched the cherry vinyl flooring I put down in the entry way! It has transformed the whole entry! It was easy to cut and install. We chose to use the white side for the risers for a bit of contrast.
