A brilliant idea, well executed
I love this thing! What a beautiful, simple, and elegant idea. I use it on an iPad mini and it's great. I can even read while lying down, which was the main reason I got it. It does not require me to hold on tight, so my hand no longer goes numb. Yes, it is a little hard to stretch it on, but once you do, it's fine. It makes the iPad mini much more secure, and much less likely to be dropped.

doubles as wrist band for smartphones!
I have used this for just over a month and have noticed a reduction in wrist fatigue. It is a little funky to get used to, and unfortunately the most useful way to strap this onto my samsung note 8 if holding it portrait (tall) mode makes the strap rub against the power button. Works great holding it in landscape (wide) though.I was playing with the strap on my wrist today, because I am a fidgeter, and just discovered that I can use this as a wrist mount for my smartphones! As an uber nerd, I was trying to find a wrist carrier ala Star Trek communicator and most styles are jogging armbands that go on the bicep and completely cover the phones with clear plastic because they are targeted for joggers, gasp!, making them fairly useless for actually taking notes, texting, googling, etc. I use my phones for all kinds of work stuff (and tablet too). I am able to fit the center strap of the Padlette over my wrist and secure the phone with the outside straps. It's a bit chunky looking and my boyfriend is chuckling at me right now, but I am totally geeked. It works for my work iphone and my personal Samsung Note 3, both with Otterboxes.I am buying the D3 in a few moments to see if I can somehow strap the tablet onto my wrist and be hands free. I will get the purple one to be the stylish trend-setter of wearable electronics haha.

MISLEADING MARKETING STATEMENT - Fits too tight on the iPad Mini
Watch out - The Padlette D2 for the iPad Mini requires much more pull to stretch it over the iPad mini when compared to the larger Padlette D3 for the iPad. It sticks out too much on the back and is awkward to hold. It was probably developed for the smaller Kindles that are under 7 inches. The iPad mini is larger than 7 inches. The Padlette.com website states -- Dee Two Designed for all 7-inch tablets like the iPad mini -- It's just bogus marketing. So my 11 year old won't be using it because it's a bit of a hassle to remove whenever he wants to use a case.

Good quality but not right for Nook HD
This device holder has a simple clever design, but it really only works well for devices that have a height to width ratio of no more than 1.2 to 1. My Nook HD is much taller than it is wide (when in portrait orientation), so the middle band sticks out way too far on the back of the device, making it awkward and not very useful. I also tested it on a Kindle Paperwhite and it worked better for that device.

I like the Padlette for the regular ipad
I like the Padlette for the regular ipad, that works well - you can hold it with your thumb or with all your fingers. This version for the mini is not as great - it's really hard to figure out how to hold it, to the point where I've just stopped using it. No matter how you try to shove your fingers in there, you will end up with hand/wrist pain.

This is the one I would take to a desert island.
I have these for my iPad and iPad Mini. I have a few different covers/keyboards/handles for my iPads, but these are my favorite for their ease of use - they just slip onto the corners of the iPad and are very easy to remove, but they hold the iPad quite securely. I have bounced my iPad by the strap and the iPad stays snugs and tight (gave a few friends a scare when they assumed that the iPads would snap out. No, not a problem). After a good year of being tugged on and off (I do use my iPads with keyboards, and the Padlette needs to be removed for that), one of the straps developed a tiny tear by the handle. I did not hesitate to order another one right away.

excellent but not perfect
Like this a lot - very handy and provides a superior grip - but it would be better without the bulging part in the back. Just a flat silicon band would make it easier to carry in a bag and also make it easier to use it with a simple "picture stand" type tablet stand. The bulge gets in the way and makes that difficult. (So it seems - I've never tried it. Can anyone recommend a simple plastic ipad stand that works with the Padlette D2?)When holding, I usually ignore the bulging out loop and slide my fingers under one of the flat parts of the band - just the very tips of some of my fingers. My iPad mini basically melds to my hand and they become one unit. Nifty. But then there is the loop if you want a more flexible grip. Also can't lay it flat on its back, though if you position it properly the bulging silicon folds somewhat and the tablet is in a pretty good position (portrait) for typing, etc. It's a bit lopsided, though, which is kind of annoying. All in all, I like it. Somehow, though, it is difficult to find exactly what I want.

Not My Handle
The loop is pictured around 2 − 3inches wide. The reality was 3/4 inch, so only my thumb. But the loop is at 30 degrees to the axis of the screen, so the thumb hold didn't make for useful viewing. The overall band is too tight to slip more than one finger in. Took four tries to get the loop on the iPad so it didn't push a switch or cover a port. Overall, not for the iPad.

Pas mal
Soulage la main lors du maintien de l'ipad mais n'est pas vraiment ergonomiqueS'attache facilement et ne gène pas la vue. Mais il faut le mettre dans le bon sens sinon ça tombe sur les boutons du son.

Padlette Grip for Apple iPad.
I use this on my I Pad at work as I have to walk around with it all day part the job these days. It makes holding it much more comfortable and also there is less chance of you dropping it or it accidentally slipping out your hand.
