Great backup to the Compact
I purchased this knife to complement my Compact. The versatility with those two are exceptional. Especially if you are looking to go thin. The design works well. I did not want redundant tools on my 58mm and the Compact. I did not need scissors or pen scales. I would need a nail file, Philips head driver, and a small backup blade. The only reason I stopped carrying this edc setup was the lack of a full size Philips. I currently edc an Explorer withplus scales. It is .7 oz heavier than the other 2 knives, but I have full size tools and one less thing to carry. If only Victorinox would bring back the Yeoman. Easy of opening was great. It is a standard high quality Victorinox product.

Handy Little Knife! Flat and Philips Screwdrivers, Small Sharp Blade
I really like this little knife. It is just the right size for me. It doesn't make a bulge in my pocket and does everything I want. Essential to me is how this little knife also has both a flat tip and a philips screwdriver. The one blade is compact, but big enough to be useful and very sharp. There is a little sentimental attraction for me. My brother always had a little Swiss Army knife like this. When he got a new one he'd give me his old one. So I'm predisposed to like this little knife. This small and well made knife does just what I want and reminds me of by brother which is a bonus for me. I'm giving this 5 stars for that.

Nice little knife for everyday carry.
I love this knife. Small enough to carry everyday even in shorts or suit pockets. Small but useful blade, nail file , two almost useful screwdrivers, bottle opener (imported beers) how often do you need that speed opening West Side Story knife anyways

Nice combination of tools, good quality, but too dinky for my taste
The Rally is a variation of the "Classic" Victorinox mini Swiss Army knife (which one sees everywhere) in which a small combination bottle opener - mini Phillips screwdriver is substituted for the Classic's small scissors. It's 2.25" closed. A lot is packed into a tiny package with a small thin drop-point blade, a combination nail file - mini flathead screwdriver, a combination bottle-opener - mini Phillips screwdriver - wire stripper, plus the trademark tweezers, toothpick and tiny keyring. The bottle opener actually works OK, despite the size. It has a great combination of tools, the quality you expect from Victorinox, and all at a reasonable price. It's also completely non-threatening. No one at the office will ever look at you funny when you pull it out. The only problem - I just can't bring myself to like it. I've tried carrying it for a couple months, but the knife is just too dinky for my taste. The blade is thin and narrow to the point of feeling fragile, though I'm sure it's capable of slicing open packages and envelopes, and cutting string and loose threads for years. There are people who love the Classic and for them, this is a good variation if you want a bottle-opener instead of the little scissors. However, I personally prefer an every day carry pocket knife that's a little larger - a "compact" rather than a "mini", one about 2.75" closed, light and unobtrusive in the pocket, but a bit more functional. If you're after a small pocket knife with a bottle opener (smaller than a Boy Scout knife), there aren't a lot of options available (which I don't understand, because there are tons of small 2-blade knives). I'd recommend also looking at the Buck Metro and the Victorinox Waiter or Bantam. They aren't minis, but they are slim and light and are comfortable to carry loose in a pocket. If you are OK with a keychain knife, this one and it's sister the "Classic" are best in their class.

GREAT KEYCHAIN MULTITOOL
This is the best keychain multitool for me. Each person needs to evaluate what he/she needs; some people need more tools, so they should look at Leatherman Squirt or Gerber Dime. For me, i needed the smallest & lightest keychain multitool that had a knife blade & bottle opener. People with eyeglasses and/or sunglasses take note: the phillips screwdriver fits perfectly on glasses screws. This is a potential big selling point for many people. It also tightened my radio's antenna. The bottle cap lifter works everytime, but not on the 1st attempt; you may have to lift from a couple different notches in the bottle cap, but it always works. Excellent for gatherings where nobody brought one. I dont get why some people give it bad ratings for its size. The size is known before they made the purchase. This is for folks who want small & light on the keyring, with great functions (small knife blade, nail file, small flat screwdriver/cuticle cleaner, small phillips screwdriver, wire stripper, bottle cap lifter). It was the perfect buy for me, and i bet it will be for a lot of folks.

Handy on your keychain
I bought the knife 5 weeks back and I have already had so many opportunities to use it. I used the knife to cut open the envelops in the mail, for cutting a cardboard box, for cutting out labels from my shirts, even for sharpening a pencil tip once. People usually think that Swiss army knife is for camping trips but this little knife on my key chain has been so handy. It's small so it's not an annoyance in my pocket. It's on my regular key chain so it is always with me. They have several versions for a knife this size. Most common is the one that comes with the scissors. I figured that I would get this one with the phillips screwdriver and a bottle opener instead because that's more unique. I figured that most scissors' usage can wait until I get home (and if not, the knife can do the job). Having a screwdriver has been very handy as I can open battery compartments on toys, calculators etc without having to fetch my tool box. Most American beers are twist open but the bottle opener comes in handy if you get a European beer! :) Overall, I think it's a great product. Cheap and Handy. [...] I wouldn't suggest getting a case for your knife. The knife is supposed to be hung on your key chain.

Es muy practica, pasa desapercibida y es una chulada de herramienta. Muy necesaria para todos aquello que abren cajas, bolsas, cortan rafia, destapar cervezas y uno que otro apuro como el desatornillador.

My fingernails are no longer strong enough to open some packages. This knife is perfect for that, small enough to be on my keychain so I always have it. I had a much larger and more elaborate knife from the same manufacturer when I was a boy, so receiving this brought back some positive memories. This knife is very small and has limited uses because the blade is thin and will not take a lot of stress.
