Dr. Beckmann Travel Wash, 100 ml

Love this travel laundry soap. Lathers up really well and washes much better than others that I have used in the past. Also rinses out well. Has a fresh clean scent. This is the only brand I now take with me on my travels.

I used this soap on a long backpacking trip out of the country. I needed enough for two weeks of small loads of laundry every 1-2 days. This soap did a great job of getting the sweat and trail dirt out of my clothing. I discovered that in order to get an acceptable level of cleaning and suds, I had to use more than twice as much as the directions stated. I did run out of soap on my trip because of this, and I had to struggle to find laundry detergent in a travel-size bottle. Perhaps I needed more soap because of the sweat of summer backpacking and the general dirt of the trail. However, I think next time I will take two bottles, or I might try a different soap.

I loved this laundry wash. I used it during a cruise and found it excellent. It doesn't produce a lot of suds, which makes it easy to rinse out, yet it still cleans clothes effectively. I'm sensitive to smells, and this wash has a mild scent, which I really appreciated.

The wash arrived spilt all over the package. Pretty useless cause of that. It can’t be that hard to pack a wash properly.

Purchased for a holiday where we only took carry-on, so we could rinse through bits and pieces in a sink. Perfect size and great value for money (especially compared to paying for checking in a suitcase). Very inoffensive smell and seemed to clean the clothes well in the sink with a quick rinse afterwards. The clothes were left clean and soft (without fabric softener) and did not irritate my very sensitive skin. I wouldn’t use for a long period of time or a as a replacement for my usual detergent, but I wouldn’t trust definitely use again for a cheap holiday fix!

Really useful when travelling…. We use this on cruises, which allows us to bring fewer clothes.. and just a single carry on each.
