1. The pen holder looks great (in brushed stainless steel). 2. It is built like a tank. Most probably it will out last me. 3. It is very functional (bottom-heavy); does not topple with a bunch of heavy pens. What else do we want from a pen holder? In fact, I am so impressed by the quality of this product, I am going to buy the brushed stainless paperweight offered by this same company. The only negative of this product is the price. Again, no one is holding a gun to anyone's head to buy this product. For me, there is no comparable product in amazon that checks all the three points mentioned above.

This is a very solid piece no doubt. Beautiful stainless steel and very sturdy construction. It is slightly on the expensive side, but I think it's worth it given the incredible build quality. Think of this as more of an investment rather than a simple paper throw away cup holder. It adds a very nice aesthetic appeal to your desk. Pictures don't do justice; it looks way nicer in real life, much better than I thought. There is a black piece of felt liner that goes on the bottom of the holder. It doesn't appear to be pictured in the post, but it's there. A very nice addition since it stops your metal tipped mechanical pencils/pens from sliding around. The name speaks for itself; this is as much a utility as it is a piece of art. Honestly it probably is a little bit overpriced, but I have never seen a pen holder like this before. Highly recommended!

Amazing piece of art on my desk, Only 4 stars because I see some solder residue where the joints meet. That is on all the pieces I received. I bought the Tape dispenser, business card holder and pencil holder. Pencil Holder and business card holder are the better pieces. Update, Love it so much had to buy another one for my best friend.

Been eyeing this for a long time now and finally got my hands on this product. Pairs nicely with my desktop water fountain I have. It’s a nice and sturdy pencil holder with beautiful, modern, and functional design. Also has a nice weight to it.

Anyone who can afford ArtsOnDesk products should never complain about the price; self included. Complaining about the price makes you look like the fool for buying it. We obviously wanted something shiny and nice if we pulled the trigger and purchased it, you can't blame ArtsOnDesk for you purchasing it! This pen/pencil holder looks incredible on my stainless desk. It's very sturdy and will last a lifetime. I bought this and the tape dispenser and came back for more. The only thing I wish they had was a stapler. Until then, the vintage chrome Swingline will work nicely as a substitute.

I actually bought these as toothbrush holders in brushed stainless for their very modern, minimalist appearance, which goes beautifully with the modern, minimalist bathrooms. They are heavy, beautifully crafted items. My architect husband was very impressed. Having seen the quality of these items I am going to buy the desk set (pen holder, tape dispenser, card holder) for my office, which will look spectacular against the antique desk. And my husband demands a set as well. Really a beautiful, tasteful design with excellent quality construction.
