Backrack 91010 Tool Box Bracket

I called Backrack and asked if this included everything to mount the Backrack frame to my truck. They told me yes. I received my Tool Box bracket kit and it included no hardware. I called Backrack and they then told me I needed to also order the original mounting kit. So to mount a Backrack with a toolbox you need to order this plus the original mounting kit just to get nuts, bolts and mounting hardware. You end up spending as much as the cost of the Backrack frame just to mount your toolbox. Dirty play by Backrack. I think I'll fabricate my own mounting hardware just out of spite. I'd return the Tool box bracket but unfortunately I need a box in my truck. Backrack needs to get their act together.

It’s definitely strong snd sturdy. Mine did come with hardware, only thing is you just need to mount tool box to it your own way. Kindve hard to do if you have a big one. Have to drill home and bolt the box though the steel, snd somehow tighten it down (took some finesse) but over all, saves space by being able to put the box overtop your backrack setup, gives you more room under the box too.

Tool box bracket worked well for my application. Though, beware that this bracket does not include bed rail mounting bolts.. Was not an issue for me as I had the standard backrack mounting bracket on truck before adding the toolbox mount. Therefor I was all set with the bolts.Order backrack item# 30119TB this includes bolts.

Exactly what you need. A lot of people on here complaining that it doesn't come with the hardware(nuts and bolts)This is true but if you already have your back rack on your truck the bolts are already there. You only need the hardware if you bought the frame only. If you bought a complete backrack ( frame and rails) you will be all set.

Installation was simple. Trouble is I'm not sure how to fasten the toolbox to the brackets. The brackets with the toolbox won't work as they fasten to the truck box (clamp onto bed wall). I took it off and used the mounting hardware brackets to attach the backrack and left the toolbox mounted with a gap between it and the rack.

This is a good 5 star product. The reason I only give it a 3 star is because it doesn't come with the mounting hardware. That seems like a huge oversight to me. You get the parts and your ready to install then you realize there's no mounting hardware... it's very frustrating and disappointing... I guess it's just another way to get more money out of you. Funny thing is If they would have just added the cost of the hardware I would have gladly paid it...

That's upsetting to read this doesn't come with the hardware nowhere in the description does it say no hardware. Even worse the kit I was going to buy had everything needed but it said for my vehicle this is what I needed, and the other wouldnt fit my truck. All after it was in my cart. You'd think if Amazon was going to re direct you it redirect you to a product with the exact same stuff, or atkeast tell this company to be more specific if they're going to sell on Amazon. I'm rating a 2 because it was partially my fault for trusting the internet

No issues with the shipper delivering quickly. Will be returning the product and update on status of this process when complete. Product should only be purchased by those that already have headache rack installed otherwise you will have to order a different set to obtain the required fasteners. These mounting bars are sold with fasteners included, this kit does not include them. Product does appear to be made well. Inability to use without additional purchases is why the rating is low.

Arrived on time. Ended up returning it but only because it turned out that we couldn’t use it with our type of toolbox
