Excellent, beautifully sounded strings!

I've been buying these since 2019 and found them to be sweeter and more responsive on my violin than any alternative so far. They seem to keep in tune well and these new ones replace a set that's at least five years old. They were more expensive too, so they have reduced in price over the years! It's my string of choice from now on in.

I always used Pirastro Eudoxa but these are Eva Pirazzi strings are beautiful. Very expensive but in the main, worth the money. They tune in nicely with little stretching and the sound is warm and rich with a nice resonance. The tension is nice making spiccato playing a pleasure. In fact all playing is a pleasure except the E string. This is something I have come to expect with Pirastro and I usually use a Dominant E string and keep the Pirastro as a spare. On my violin, the sound on the E string is week and when playing in 3rd position or above the sound does not project as you’d need it to when playing high orchestral parts.
