Sticker/Decal (F-030MP)

Even on a black fretboard I thought they threw off the look a bit. But I cut out the moons and it was a beautiful addition. All in all, I would maybe recommend finding something else unless you want to take the time to cut it to fit.

I build a lot of cigar box guitars, gourd banjos, etc. as a hobby and, as a general rule, love fret decals because my skill level isn't quite enough to do actual inlays. When I first saw these, I thought they would be perfect for the gourd banjo I was working on. However, I was extremely disappointed with the background behind the moon images. With a lighter-colored fretboard, it just looks like a cheap sticker. That being said, they were still very easy to apply and if you have a darker fretboard they might look okay.

These suck. I own both a guitar and ukulele and was planning on putting them on my guitar (classical nylon 6 string), expected them to be the width of the fretboard. No such luck. Classical guitars are wider than regular 6 strings but not by THIS much. I thought maybe I misread the listing and was going to put them on the ukulele I share with my boyfriend and theyre too big except for the tiny stars. They dont stick like... at all. It feels like someone spilled soda on the back of them rather than there being any actual adhesive on it. The blackish green background will look atrocious unless it matches your guitar exactly. Additionally, they bend when you try to take them off. The adhesive is so bad that it wont stay where I want it but you cant get it off when they inevitably shift around. I wasted 10 bucks on these when i wouldve had an easier and more fruitful time destringing my guitar and painting the moons myself, which I'm heavily considering after these major flops. I'm pretty happy with these, they're an inexpensive way to customize a guitar or bass. After putting these on my bass and playing around for a bit they don't get in the way of playing or move around at all. These look best on a black instrument with a dark colored fretboard.

These look amazing, however, if you have a fretboard that is lighter than the black part of the decal, it will look like a sticker. They are easy to put on and take off.

Well, I put them on incorrectly but they still look great and adhere well to the fretboard.
