10 Thuja Green Giant Arborvitae 8-12" tall trees

So far, after 10 minutes of having them, I am in love. They are beautiful and twice as big as I expected. They look healthy and I can't wait to plant them!! Roots look good, no brown tips, packed well and delivered upright. I got a ten pack. Also, cats seem to like to chew on them. Will probably need some protection....

The plants were larger than described - almost 2 feet tall and were well packaged! They came much faster than anticipated. The plants appeared healthy with good root systems. However, the roots were dry. The proof will be when they start growing.

They were small when they arrived. Got them planted in some less desirable ground on a hillside. Planted them just before winter hoping for them to survive. Thought they had all died but all of them survived a cold winter and slowly growing. For the price a good deal. We will see how they do this summer.

I ordered 20 trees. 19 of them came in good condition, all 8-10 in. I did notice a copper color on several of them. I moved them into containers both to get more size and so I could experiment with their placement. 19 of them immediately grew 3 or 4 inches, and then they started dying off. One in a row would die and its neighbors were fine for another month or so. I am down to 2 living trees. They both seem to have stopped growing. One is decidedly yellow and on the other, what is coming up is dead. As you can see in the pictures there is lush, verdant growth around the dead tree. I paid a lot for 2 trees.

The 10 Green Giants I got were all alive and well rooted. However, Extremely poor packaging. Many of the plants lost much of their planting soil inside a bag that they were shipped in. The bag was in a box but the the plants inside the bag were not secured. I replanted the plants immediately in a 1 gallon pot for growth. I am expecting them to do Ok. Shipper would have gotten five starts if it wasn't for the packaging.

So impressed! We ordered 40 of these seedlings, not sure what to expect in quality. Every single one was healthy, shipped with care, beautiful roots, and hopefully they continue to thrive! I'll try to update with pics of growth if I remember to lol

Healthy and arrived swiftly. These are the same size as the ones that cost $20 each at fastgrowingtrees. They are small but grow quickly and small holes are easier to dig.

Seller and product were fine. Just a word of caution though, this may be a beautiful tree and easy to grow, but it is very sensitive to excessive heat even when in a shady area. Do not purchase this if your hardiness zone is 9. This tree will not thrive and will eventually die. I attempted to grow this tree in central California three times already and every time, the trees would die.
