Great binoculars for the price
I initially purchased the ED X model, but sent it back due to the purple/green fringing I was seeing. I got these instead, and while the fringing is slightly worse than the ED X models, I don't think the price increase was worth it. The binoculars are well packaged, and I like the case it comes with. The lens caps are not the best - they barely stay in, but better than nothing. The magnesium body makes them feel really premium - these should last a long time. I tried the 8x42's which are probably better for general use, but I went with the 8x32's as these will be used mostly for travelling.
