Great for plantar fasciitis and for tired feet. This was an important part of my recovery from pf and made a huge difference in healing. Also, it's nice just for tired feet even when my pf is not acting up. Also, very good price. Yes, a frozen water bottle is free and works; however, it leaks as the ice melts and condensation builds up quickly so you have wet feet and carpet fuzz stuck to the bottle. Also, the shape of this is really nice for your arches. If you are currently using a frozen bottle and find it to be useful, this will be even better and last many years.

I was suffering from severe plantar fasciitis....purchased this and use it at night before bed with a frankensence balm...all pain gone no inserts in shoes...would pay 50 dollars for this no problem...worth every dime...

This is great for sore arches. I cycle a lot and my arches are always tight afterward. I roll a few times and I'm good to go. Also great to use on calves and other muscles if you just roll it on sore muscles. I think the little nubs really help encourage blood flow. The only downfall is that when using while standing, it can crush if you put too much weight on it. I like that it can be warmed and cooled, but I haven't tried that yet.

Well, a bit about me , I have plantar faciatis and Achilles tendinitis in both my feet. Yay.. but in all seriousness I have been looking for something to massage and take care of my feet. This roller from my experience doesn't hold the cold very well even after being in the freezer for 2+ hours. I did not see any instructions saying it had to be in the freezer for X amount of time. The roller is not as hard as I anticipated either. When you put a lot of pressure on it from the arch it deflates ( since it is mostly air) causing you not to really get the opportunity to massage your foot. Overall it is ok. It is better than nothing to roll my foot across , but I would have hoped for a bit more cold retention as well as hardness.

Don’t even ask me why but this works. My niece told me on a ski trip she had to sit out a day in a rental and saw these there and tried them out. She rolled her feet every night for a week. The neurology pain in her feet significantly improved. So I ordered two one for each foot and put them in the living room next to the chair. My husband and I both have severe neuropathy, plantar fasciitis and arch pain. Since we started rolling both feet at a time while reading or watching tv or just relaxing most days for an hour or so we have had major improvement in foot pain. Sometimes I’ll go a week or two forgetting about them but when the foot pain and cramps come back I start rolling them again and the relief comes back within a day or two. There is probably science behind it but it feels like magic to me.

Prescribed by my physician to stretch and break up scar tissue on my plantar fascia. Months of foot pain gone after a single 5 minute workout. I used the roller standing putting nearly all my body weight into it. It was very painful and very effective. I use it on both feet and I use it barefoot. I would recommend starting with an athletic sock. The manual provided with the product says to use it while seated. Perhaps it will act as a relaxing massage roller if you use it that way. I wouldn't know. You will get out of it what you put into it. Lean into it and push beyond the pain. The results for me were amazing. I won't sugarcoat it. It isn't "good" pain. It's real pain. That means you are doing it right. Set a timer for 5 minutes for each foot. Do both feet. Results for me were rapid. I still use it and I still seek out the pain. Now it is actually a good pain. And it is relaxing.

awesome roller for someone suffering plantar factious

I have had problems with my feet for a few years now, (P F) also have a fallen arch. I am seeing a foot specialist and been given special insoles also these exercises to help my feet. I saw this foot massage roller video and thought this could help, so i ordered one. When it arrived i tried it out without socks on, it did hurt a bit because of the pimple bits on it but with socks on it fine. I could feel how it will help my feet and ankles a lot if i use it for minimum 10 minutes each foot every day. You can use it either standing or sitting. It is heavier than i thought it was going to be, but its a good thing as it will not roll away from you. well worth the money.

De entrada me parecio algo rústico por su diseño, pero cuando empecé a masajear mis plantas , un cambio tremendo sentí alivio desde el primer uso y balla que me dolían desde hace tiempo las plantas de los pies, en cuanto a precio , me deja totalmente satisfecho

Excellent produit, acheté un peu au hasard pour remplacer un rouleau de massage de pied en bois. Très agréablement surpris.
