I bought these for my toddler at around 18 months and even that young she was so hooked on them. She loves to point out numbers, letters, colors and animals on the cards. The cards are great quality and the pictures are easy for her to see and recognize. She has learned so many numbers and letters from these cards alone in just a few short months. Definitely worth the price and the box it comes in makes storing easy.

Well made and it comes in a container for easy storage. The card sizes are adequate and its nice that the number and letter cards are different sizes. The pictures are well thought out and colorful to keep little ones engaged. I have an Early childhood Education degree and I definitely think this is a tool worth the money when your kids are interested in letters. Good learning tool for the value.

What a great set! My almost 3-year-old enjoys numbers and the alphabet. We already have several battery-operated toys/books that focus on the alphabet and numbers. Those have been excellent for the times I’ve needed a toy that is educational and can keep him occupied and entertained while I make dinner, clean up or just catch a breather. This time, I wanted something low-tech, made of durable and non-toxic materials, and can be used in several different ways. I had found a very similar set by a popular German toy maker and was about to purchase it when I came across this set. Both sets feature colorful wooden letter forms and “puzzle” cards. This one was at least half the price with great reviews (thank you previous reviewers) so naturally I went with this set, although I do love the quality of German products. Upon arrival, I wasn’t too impressed with the plastic storage box and the overall presentation. The box is rather thin and looked a bit cheap, in my humble opinion. Once I took off the lid and checked out the actual product, I was relieved. The wooden letters/numbers have sanded, smooth edges, and a thickness and size that is perfect for little hands. They aren’t heavy, but also aren’t too thin and light that I would worry about their durability. The colors are lovely—not extremely bright and vivid, but rather softer, muted hues. The illustrations on the cards are adorable, and the writing instructions on the back are a nice touch. I appreciated the colors of the letters/numbers matching the colors on the cards. It makes it easier for little ones to recognize and sort through all of the pieces. My son made short work of dumping all of the contents and going to work, placing the pieces into their correct cards. We’ve since played with this set several times, doing different things like sorting the letters and numbers by color first, then placing them into their cards. We’ve counted the number of each color, we’ve spelled simple words, and we’ve practiced pronouncing the letter sounds with the assist of the illustrations. I am debating adding velcro to the backs of the letters and making some sort of other activity—maybe a letter and numbers tree, using felt to make the tree trunk and foliage. I’m still undecided as I’m not sure I want to alter this beautiful set. All in all, I rate this 5 stars, even though the janky plastic container does nothing to represent the lovely contents inside. Still, including a container is a bonus, so I’m not docking a star.

Wonderful & Quality product! Well designed and constructed. The heavy-duty cards have a cut out for the letters or numbers to fit. The letters and numbers are painted wood that seem very sturdy and large enough for little hands to grasp. We are thrilled that this comes in a small and concise plastic tub for all the pieces to return to for storing when learning time is finished!! I know my grandson will be able to learn using these.

Super helpful in teaching my kid both numbers and letters. The pieces are bright, easy to hold, and really keep my child engaged while learning. My only complaint is that I wish the pieces actually snapped into place when you match them with the correct spot. It would make the activity feel more secure and satisfying for kids, especially when they’re learning on their own.

This is a very great find. Both the cards and the letter cut outs are thick and great quality. My 2 year old loves them. I’m so thankful that the letters and numbers are of thick hard woody material and NOT firm foam board. It makes it 10 times faster and easier to clean especially when multiple kids are using. The pictures are very friendly and appropriate. There are so many ways to teach with these. Great gift idea

These are great quality! I love that they come with a box to store them in. It is also helpful that they are different colors so similar looking letters don’t get mixed up .. such as 6 and 9. They pictures and a good quality, size, and thickness. My 2 year old specifically asks to “do letters” and it’s very easy for him to use!

Great little puzzles! Both the cards and pieces are sturdy. They are a little smaller than I expected, but overall they are great. The picture quality on the cards and the colors of the pieces are great also. I can't wait to put them to use.
