I love these
I moved into a house with aluminum wiring and I could not afford to rewire the house. Everyone said oh it’s safe but I pulled out an outlet to paint and it was burnt. I found out about these and I have been ordering them for all of the outlets and light fixtures. They are expensive but are cheaper than replacing your home and everything in it. This is my first home and I purchased a torque screw driver a husky and I have been changing them out. Be careful with hot wires especially because they are very brittle and prone to breaking out of the alumicon if you manipulate the alumicon too much. They are also large so you have to be strategic in the placement of the wires in the aluminum wires and pigtails in the alumicon based on where you put them on the switches, the size of the box and how many wires are coming into the box. Also because of the brittleness of the wires you don’t want to expose too much wire in the alumicon and you also want to ensure you are sticking to the guidelines on the pounds of pressure or you can pinch the wire too tight and it can cause the wire to break off because of the restriction the wires ability to expand and contract completely. The screw driver is more but it is worth it once you get the hang of getting it to pop. Also as a woman with smaller hands gloves are a must to hold the alumicon tightly enough to get the screw closed at the proper pressure.

Product works as intended but the price is a joke.
The price is just ridiculous but noone else sells these things and they are required in these old Florida houses.

Probably the best and most reliable way to pigtail copper wire to aluminum.
This is the only wire connector that I would trust to use on aluminum wires on high current (20 A) circuits. At more than three dollars each, they are quite expensive. You also need a torque screwdriver to install them ($ 50 or more) so there is that extra expense. Don't use them unless you have one. When working with aluminum wire you need to be careful and do the job right. (Expense be damned.)

Very easy to use
The only correct way to use aluminum and copper wire together. Gets a little crowded when you need to use more than 3 but not really any other options.
