Q: What's the expiration date?

I ordered last in January this year and the expiration date on the tube is Aug 2018.

Q: What are the age limitations? Under 12 need a doctor consultation?

That I don't know. But works like a charm. A very tiny amount needed. The tube is tiny and gore8s along way.

Q: Does this work after the blisters appear?

Absolutely. I've had the occasion over the past, probably 5 years, to having used it about once or twice a year. It will help reduce a blister fairly quickly and if you feel a blister coming on and apply it to the spot it will often times never progress to a blister. Go away over night. I have never had a blister right on my lip(s) but off to the side of my lips so it is easy to keep the area covered with the Abreva. 2-3 applications and the blister or bump has gone away. I think they do offer a patch that can be used on the lips so the Abreva doesn't get wiped off.

Q: Can this be used on the face?

I use it on my lips which is where I generally have flare-ups. I imagine it can be used on any break out.
