You might have the wire in the cable after 2-3 years, as this is the third thing of Skullcandy earbuds I’ve gotten over my life. Second of this particular brand. But I’ll let you know, you get what you pay for, and this is the case of most/ all earbuds that experience regular use. They aren’t indestructible, and you can’t expect them to be. But they have a rather accurate sound quality, and the sound play button is quite handy for pausing/ playing/ skipping through songs without flipping on your device. One other note to all headphone users with smartphones: you’ll eventually have to clean out the headphone jack of dust. I learned this the hard way with a different brand of earbuds of mine, that I thought had a faulty skip button. Turns out I just had a build up of dust. Cleaned it out, and now the feature works. Go figure

My favorite thing about these is the brand. They are high quality with a low price. They’re super affordable, but they look and work great. They offer great sound, a little bass boost, and they block outside noise pretty well. The in-line mic is great for changing music or answer phone calls because the mic range is great — don’t have to talk very loud and don’t have to hold the mic to your mouth to talk. Excellent quality and worthy of a purchase. This will always be my favorite brand of headphones because they last so long.

I love these ear buds, they stay put better than any other brand I've owned. I've only been using them for about a year, and so far they have held up to yard work, running, constantly being switched between my phone and laptop, and of course sweat and dirt. There is a slight amount of 'noise' from the cable hitting your clothing, but it is minimal. I've have other pairs so bad if I was talking I could hear myself through the speakers themselves. I don't think I like the flat cord, hence the missing star, but it could just be a preference. When they tangle, they are really tangled, mostly due to this cord shape in my opinion. All in all, I will keep buying these. I even like them better than the Nike sportband style, which I've broken several pairs of in a short period of time. I will be running a few events this year so I'm anxious to see how they hold up at the end of the season. I bought two pair just so I could have a pair to train with and another pair for recreation. I like them that much :) They are a great buy for around $12 for sure. Thumbs up. The sound is perfect, crisp mid and highs with just enough low end, I use them on a HTC M8 and couldn't be happier.

Skullcandy are the best all round earbuds. It is good to have a few spare old school earbuds hanging around the ranch. They just come in handy now and then as when I misplace my bluetooth devices or just dont wish to not use the bluetooth device. Sometimes the grand children show up but have forgotten listening devices for their tablets, games, net books, etc. Skullcandy work great making sound reproduction and always have, plus if you or the grand kids lose them no big deal. I have used skullcandy for years, cant go wrong useing skullcandy product.

Sounds so great for the price you pay. I am never let down by skull candy headphones these have such a crystal clear sound and smooth low bass with no distortion or tearing. I will make sure the next time my dog chews up my headphones that I grab these.

I am writing this review now on June 25, 2015. I had purchased these earbuds towards the end of January of this year. These earbuds were great for the most part. They came with the largest ear cushions, however they still fell out of my ear once and a while. When they stayed in, they were comfortable to wear over a long period of time. The microphone feature was quite clear and the audio was beat worthy. With that said, the earbud suddenly stopped working. It's quite a shame, since I was enjoying these. It's odd because they were working just in the morning. Then I tried to use them later in the day and there was no sound from the left ear bud. This was my first Skullcandy purchase. It's a shame it had to end this way.

Had a pair that lasted me ages, only had to replace them because they snagged on something and broke. They sound really good and last for a long time if taken care of. I always recommend these to people looking for good earbuds.

I'm a really big fan of skullcandy so when I found these for $9 I was really excited but what really impressed me was the customer service, the package came in a 3 bag-ception so you know your package was safe all through the delivery. My package also came with a handwritten thank-you note from the seller which I really appreciated, its small things like these that make ordering and receiving a package very special. Sound is ok, not great.

Obviously you have too many options to select a specific pair of earphones in the same price range!! So i would give you a very brief explanation!!! 5 out of 5 - if you are a normal listener or expect higher quality of tones just for enjoying the music clarity !!! 3 out of 5 - if you expect extremely high bass !!! And its known to everyone that scullcandy has extremely high quality of sound output, NO DOUBT!!!

Having used this product for 6 months now, I can say these are one of the best in-ear headphones that I have ever used. They are comfortable and stylish but are still subtle. Advantages - Colours. The colours are very attractive and good to look at, as well as the black and white colours contrasting with each other really well. If you have a phone that is either black or white then these will go really well with it as it all matches however it suites with most other colours as well. - Shape. The earphone are really good to look at and don't look to odd in the ear as they are a very neutral shape, unlike others that just look weird whilst in the ear. - Comes with 2 different sizes for the earbud tips. Other earphones are quite large for me as I have quite small ears and so I was glad there was a smaller size available which fit perfectly in my ears. - The sound is very high quality. I have used over-ear headphones that have cost over £60 and the quality of these don't come far from that at all. The bass is also very good and you can really hear it well. - They are noise cancelling. These headphones are amazing when it comes to noise cancelling, I have used these in plane, crowded place and buses and you really get immersed in the sound. Even at low volumes or very just put into your ear without any sound, the ambient noise is hard to hear and sometimes you can't even hear it. Disadvantages - Stay in the ear. Once they are placed in the ear, they will stay there and are comfortable however once you starting doing activities like running or even somethings when your walking the earphones will fall out. - Buttons. There is one button on the earphones that will work on most devices with most things like Youtube, Spotify, iTunes and native music apps. However the use for that button is to pause and play or if long held then Siri or Google assistant is opened however that is the only button and there isn't more like on other headphone. Like Apple earphone that come free with devices they have 3 buttons for skipping and replaying the songs this isn't available on these earphones and you will have to use the device to skip or replay the song. Overall, I think these earphone are very good and for the price are the perfect earphone. They might not be idea for exercise however for everyday use they are good and very balanced.

Adoro queste cuffie. Sono ormai anni che ne sostituisco una dopo l'altra. Ho provato tante marche di auricolari Sony, Sennheiser, Panasonic, Creative, Apple, Samsung o cinesate varie e devo dire che nella fascia di prezzo queste sono quelle che preferisco. Anzitutto sembrano robuste con un bel cavo piatto anti groviglio e una plastica che seppur non particolarmente bella sembra robusta. Speriamo durino almeno un anno. Il secondo luogo il suono. Sono rimasto davvero stupito per la profondità del suono, cui contribuiscono i bassi ben presenti, e da una comodità eccezionale che ne fanno ai punti le più equilibrate. Forse il suono è meno pulito delle Sennheiser o delle Sony e non privilegiano il parlato come le Panasonic, ma sentire un film con queste cuffie emoziona. A questo contribuisce l'isolamento acustico che è molto buono per delle in ear e anche i toni medi che valorizzano il parlato. Forse solo il suono in alto potrebbe essere migliore. Quindi bene per i film e per musica in cui i bassi fanno la differenza. Con la classica o Jazz scegliete altro. Unico reale contro è che affaticano l'udito, ma su questo credo ci sia poco da fare visto la tipologia di cuffie.
