Alcedo Blood Pressure Monitor for Home Use, Automatic Digital BP Machine with Large Cuff for Upper Arm, LCD Screen, 2x120 Memory, Talking Function

I recently purchased the Alcedo Blood Pressure Monitor for Home Use, and it has truly exceeded my expectations. It’s incredibly simple to set up, the instructions are clear, and the large display makes the readings easy to see for anyone, including older adults. The measurements are quick, consistent, and very accurate. I compared the results with readings taken at my doctor’s office, and they were almost identical. The cuff is comfortable, fits well, and doesn’t feel too tight. I also love that it stores multiple readings, which makes it easy to track my progress and share the information with my healthcare provider.

My cardiologist wants me to monitor my BP at home, because it is always high in the when done in the office. Sometimes I could talk the nurse into waiting 5 minutes, and my BP top number would drop about 30 points during that time. I bought this unit because I wanted a cuff and not the wrist version. The following are my observations: 1) Set up was relatively easy but would have been more complicated if there was to be another user. 2) I like the option of either batteries (which are included) or a USB cord. 3) It is rather particular on how you put on the cuff, so just be sure to have the instruction flap showing on the inside of your arm, or you will get an error message. 4) It is more comfortable than the office cuffs and gives a good squeeze without feeling like you have a tourniquet on. 5) It records your readings, though I keep a separate record on my computer. 5) The display is very readable, which is good if you have poor eyesight like me. 6) It also displays your heart rate (beats per minute), which is important to us heart patients.

Purchased to take blood pressure at home. Reading seems accurate. Easy to use and great instruction included with the package. Would recommend and buy again. Like the 2 person reading and storage of information. Reads outloud as default.

This is a easy to use and understand blood pressure monitor for home. Very happy with my purchase and so far value for my money. Very durable, has easy to read bright screen Plus the trackability is very good . The monitor itself is portable, battery life so far is very good but it comes with a plug-in cord and comes with its own storage bag to keep it clean.

Set up is easy and very easy to use. Voice option is kind of nice.

This works great and doesn’t tighten so much that it hurts just to take blood pressure. It’s pretty accurate too. I use it, my husband uses it, and I sometimes use it on my elderly mother because her monitor hurts her arm but this one does not. I really like it. I also like that it tells me if my blood pressure is high , normal, or low. Great device.

This blood pressure monitor is easy to setup and to use too. The model I'm reviewing has backlit screen and talking function. The device is well built. The talking function tells in clear voice your measurement results and if if they are normal, hi o very hi according to the world health organization. Very satisfied with this purchase.

I just purchased this yesterday on a special deal with delivery the same day. I regret the purchase and I am in the process of returning it. The systolic rating is up to 40 points higher than I've been seeing on my old machine. The diastolic is 10 - 30 points higher than expected. Only the pulse is within the expected range and it does detect my AFIB. I've been taking my BP at home for more than 35 years so I know what to expect. I keep track and chart it for my doctor who agrees they are accurate. This does not work - at least not for me. The cuff is supposed to handle up to 16.5" circumference. My arm is 14" and this cuff is too small! It's at least 3 inches shorter than the cuff I have been using. The cuff must be placed EXACTLY over the artery. Most cuffs have a little lee-way but this gives an error if you don't have it just right. It also must be much tighter than other cuffs or it gives an error. It is incredibly difficult to use. It works BACKWARDS! Traditional BP monitors pump up and then register as the pressure releases for the actual reading. This one only goes UP! It tracks everything on the way up and then it just releases all the pressure at once. I think that is part of the inaccuracy. It's just not worth the higher readings to try to get it to work when it obviously won't work! If you are keeping track of your readings for your doctor -- avoid this thing!

I like this BP machine for the accuracy and easy to use. I was worried because I thought it would be difficult to use if there's no one around to help but I was wrong. The arm band slids on easily and easily adjustable. Nothing complicated about it. Not only do you have visual for the reading but it talks also, so it's great for the visually impaired. For me, the beauty of it is that, it allows me to adjust my blood pressure medication. It's definitely a great buy

I had to return another BP monitor for failing after 3 uses and the screen was faulty - it was in the £17 price range - I opted to spend a bit more this time and I got this version with the batteries/mains cable and the carry case - it was around £21. I can immediately tell its better quality - it feels solid with a good quality cuff and hose -these wont break or deteriorate any time soon. The case is good quality and I need it more than I thought. The big thing for me was the instructions - The quick start guide specifically - nice and clear, no grammar/spelling errors, large enough to be clear and understandable and is very easy to follow. They do provide a full product description in addition but you don't really need it, but the quick start guide is large and separate. I have used it now several times and works quickly, fairly quietly and then can be stored away neatly in a cupboard. If you are feeling swamped with the volume of the monitors around this price range - this one I recommend.

As said above easy to use. The best feature is you don’t need batteries to work the machine. You can use USB cable with a power bank. My previous machine kills the batteries in no time. Also the machine talks to you. It is consistent with the readings close to each other The only thing that worries me is accuracy. One day I’ll take to my GP and compare the readings.

Having diagnosed with high blood pressure and using a machine provided by my GP I s decided to purchase my own. This product is so easy to use and provides the exact same readings as the one that I borrowed. It even provides soothing music whilst the test takes place and tells you the catagory of the result. I'm very impressed and would highly recommend this product

Like You can manage the different users. Battery and usb charging providing extra capability. Sound after reading suggest high or low blood pressure. Dislike Price are little more higher compare to other brands.
