Beautiful and Lightweight
This is an absolutely gorgeous and light weight nursing cover. it folds easily and neatly into my diaper bag. Make sure that when you wash it, to reshape it so it doesn't lose its shape. For southern california, this is perfect because my baby isn't over heated below. The quality is great and pattern is beautiful.

including a cotton Hooter-Hider (which I also liked a lot but unfortunately was worn out after too ...
I used two nursing covers with my first baby, including a cotton Hooter-Hider (which I also liked a lot but unfortunately was worn out after too many washes) and an older version of the cotton Bebe Au Lait (which in my opinion was too small and not lightweight enough). For my second baby, I bought this muslin nursing cover and a soft, scarf-like cover without the opening on top. This one is my favorite so far, even better than the Hooter-Hider. For one thing, the fabric is softer and much more breathable than cotton; for another, it's large enough to cover most of my body; finally, the opening on top stays in shape after washing. I could not adjust to the scarf-like cover since it's impossible to see my baby without exposing myself.Am buying another one to make sure I always have a clean one to use and they don't wear out too quickly.

The perfect fabric for the perfect nursing cover!
This is the only brand I'll use! I absolutely love this nursing cover! I've tried off-brands and homemade covers, but Bebe Au Lait is noticeably better in my ability to see my baby and stay covered. And the muslin material is well-worth the extra money from the regular material! My 3rd baby was born during the summer, so the cooler, more breathable muslin was a must. And even in the winter, I would get all hot and sweaty when I used the regular Baby Au Lait with my first 2 babies, but not with the muslin cover. I'm so glad I got this one for baby #3!I worried about the muslin being see-through, and it is a little, but not enough to matter. Just wearing a cover makes it obvious that I'm nursing anyway. If someone wants to look hard enough to see the silhouette of my baby, or the faint color of skin, that's their problem. They can't see my actual breast or nipple, which is what I care about. And the Isla pattern is beautiful!

If you want lightweight, this is it!!
I've used several covers, one of which was a "regular" Bebe Au Lait. My biggest issues with other covers were they were too thick, didn't have a rigid neckline, or both. This cover is so amazingly thin and has the rigid neckline! I don't use a cover when my babies are older but I like to when they're newborns and still need a lot of help with positioning - that's why the rigid neckline is critical for me. And, yes, all covers are hot but this one is really as thin as can be if you *want* to be covered.

It is great for warmer weather
It is great for warmer weather, yet at times, it doesn't feel too private. When my wife uses it outdoors and its windy, she becomes easily exposed. But she has used it for about 11 months and so far so good.

... other is a Boppy) and this is a lot better. This is larger and I really like that ...
I have two nursing covers (the other is a Boppy) and this is a lot better. This is larger and I really like that the material is so breathable. Some people may become self-conscious because muslin is slightly see-through, but I don't believe people stare at your while you're nursing. It is enough to cover what is needed and helps keep my baby cooler. He is a little furnace, though, so his head still gets sweaty under this. I really like this design as well.

Love this nursing cover
Love this nursing cover. It is so lightweight and breathable my baby doesn't get too hot underneath it which was really important to me during the hot summer months on the beach. It is easily adjustable and works great for seeing the baby with the flexible opening. I had another different brand nursing cover that did not function like this ones that view of the baby was obstructed. This one is perfect and the pattern is lovely and gender neutral.

Perfect for Summer! I wore this everywhere for my June baby.
Perfect for Summer! I wore this everywhere for my June baby. It rolls up very small - so much so that I didn't even notice it was still in my handbag when digging for it. Took it to Disneyworld in August - middle of the humid weather - it was perfect. Only thing I would like is not to iron it - looks better when pressed but not necessary. You can't really see through it - if someone were looking as if they could see, they would be trying too hard.

Best one I've tried
This is the fourth method I have tried in order to breastfeed discretely. Tried and failed: breastfeeding poncho (saggy neck obscured view), muslin tied to shoulder strap (fiddly, came off and not big enough to protect my modesty!), triangular shaped cloth tied at ends and worn round me much like a sling (only good for feeding newborn, after that, not big enough plus obscured view).I didn't really want to spend even more money on yet another cloth but fellow large-breasted lady swore by this so I thought I'd try one last thing. So glad I did as this was the one that finally worked! It is so wide that no one can see a thing, which is fabulous. Especially when you have large breasts and have to hold them to the baby's mouth. You can even cover the baby's body so that there is no side-view where people can look in. I have used it on the beach, and the baby was totally covered from the sunlight too even though I could still look in the top and see everything. You can change the baby to the other side without having to readjust anything, unlike when you use a muslin or sling-like cloth over you, where you have to put the baby down to change the cloth over to your other side.I got the white/blue/green patterned one called Kensington, which I loved the look of. I think light coloured ones are easier so the light comes through and you can see what you are doing. The other thing I like about it is that is folds up really small despite the reinforced neck so I always had it in my bag. Will definitely use again for next child.Hugely recommend for people who need both hands and their vision in order to get baby to latch on.

Attractive and good sight of baby
I think having a nursing cover is essential if you breastfeed and the Bebe Au Lait brand has some of the most tasteful ones on the market. It's fairly priced and the fabric is pretty. Also very importantly I can see my baby easily as the boning material holds the cover open. However, the fabric feels quite cheap and thin which I was disappointed about. My mother actually sewed a few nursing covers for me and they were better quality and thicker than this one. Overall not bad, but I would also check out the Bebe Chic brand of covers.

Works well but quite large
This is a pretty good nursing cover - it certainly gives you the space to move around and get the baby onto your breast without flashing the room and the stiff neckline works well giving you a good view of your baby. It's quite large though and it's a bit like draping a tablecloth over yourself so not exactly discreet, although nothing is on show you might draw attention from people wondering what you're doing! That said, I love the bright spotty colours of this style and why should you hide what your doing?! The Mamascarf is more discreet to use as its a smaller scarf and comes in plain dark colours but it's harder to get your baby onto your breast without exposing yourself - it takes practice! It's still a good scarf though. Always handy to have two if you have a pukey baby and go out a lot!

Stilltuch Bahn
