and each zipper section has 2 "zippies" on them for easy access which is great
For the price, it can't be beat. $65 for a high quality bag with unlimited options, and straps. It DOES come with a chest strap, so I'm not sure why someone answered it doesn't. It's really handy, and each zipper section has 2 "zippies" on them for easy access which is great. It also has two velcro patches, one is a black american flag and the second is a black circular Veni Vidi Vici with a reaper. The bag is enormous. Plenty of room for all your personal belongings and more. I went out today with a laptop, application, 3ds, notebook, charger and that barely took up any room. I came back with two gateraids, milk, eggs, sausages, and some items from rite aid with plenty of room left over to fit a jacket, shoes and water bladder. It seems to be made sturdy, and the material is strong. I can't say it is much protection for valuables like a laptop, I would recommend more protection if you plan on carrying one around. Also my 17-18 inch laptop didn't fit in the sleeve in the big pouch, but only by an inch so most newer, smaller laptops should fit there fine. I just put it in the free side of the big pouch. All in all I can't wait to go hiking/camping with this beauty. Also I got Grey Foliage and LOVE the colors. I've gotten a lot of compliments. The inside is a purply color, but nothing bright, and i like it just fine.I would definitely highly recommend this product to friends. It's very comfy.

To the point good -seams are strong -material is successfully water resistant (yesterday ...
Update 7/1/2019: Bag still in use, functioning like a champ after daily use for 4 years! The zippers now occasionally can separate (but are not broken) when my laptop pushes through the side.I love this bag. I have attempted to get 3-4 other backpacks for work, professional settings, trips, etc. I keep coming back to this one. It was one of the best purchases I've ever made!To the pointgood-seams are strong-material is successfully water resistant (yesterday I walked a mile in sleet, used my sleeve to brush off the water afterwards with no wet spots left behind, regardless i'd suggest treating this pack with a hydrophobic spray to prevent issues and stains)-shoulder straps are comfortable-large pockets accommodate my large school books and laptop very well- waist straps are removablebad-form of the pack is poor as it sits against your back. there is a velcro pocket you could fit an insert in to alleviate this issue-little to no padding on the bottom of the pack. if you are carrying a laptop you need to have a cushion at the bottom or you will bang up your stuff.-the inside of the front pocket has a tiny divider for pens, if your pens are tiny... my zebra pens are too big.will add pics and updates as necessary

Color is misleading, but bag is good.
Ordered this for an emergency bug-out bag to keep in my car. I've got almost all I need in it, with packed weight running around 15lbs. The bag is good quality, although I'm not an expert on these type of bags. I'm a female, 5' 1", average build. I've adjusted all the straps and it fits me pretty comfortably. The shoulder straps seem to be adequately padded. At any rate, I would recommend it, at least for someone my size. Maybe a larger person could handle a bigger bag.The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the color of the bag is misleading. I ordered the "Foliage Gray", which in the picture looks to be a sort of grayish lavender with light blue straps. In actuality, what I got was a rather grayish lt.olive green bag, labeled simply "Gry". I actually contacted the seller about the color and they told me this was the only gray color the manufacturer offered. So I went to the manufacturer's website (3V) and sure enough, the same exact picture as on Amazon and labeled "Foliage Gray". I did not call the manufacturer, but in their reviews section, it was mentioned by several buyers that the color was misleading. I could send it back, but other than the color, I'm satisfied with it.

Great pack!
I got this for day hikes and to use as a carry-on when I fly, I travel a lot. The dimensions are perfect for airlines. The bag is made of a nice durable canvas that is not you heavy. I can pack a ton of stuff in it, many pouches to keep your stuff organized. The straps are comfortable. The back is nice and breathable. Fits my 2 liter hydration bladder with out problem. Lots of attachment points on it, very customizable. My 8 year old done use it for outings as well, it's a little big on him but still comfortable. The price is decent for what you get, good bargain.

Good design, low quality construction.
Nice roomy pack with lots of straps and MOLLE loops, but the workmanship just isn't up to the standards one would expect and require from such a pack. Stitching missed in a few places, and after a week in the field, stitching was starting to come apart in several places, fray in several more, and one of the zipper pulls was destroyed.

straps are NOT sewn deep into the pack
This could be the best backpack, lots of room, expandable, comfortable HOWEVERThe seemingly tough straps are a facade, a fake strength designed to make one believe it's tough.Usage: Just under 1 yr. light usage (house to car, car to office).Problems:1 - Straps and durability straps are NOT sewn deep into the pack, but just on the edge as seen here. Naturally when you lose a whole shoulder strap the pack is essentially useless.2 - Seams appear to be single, not double stitched.I really wanted to like this pack and I hope the company addresses these serious flaws.Seller, please contact me with a viable solution for fixing my pack.Thanks3V Gear Velox II Large Tactical Assault Backpack Rucksack, MOLLE Compatible for Military Gear, Outdoors, Hiking, Bug Out Backpack
