Review: Absolutely wild, months of feeling blocked gone in a couple of minutes. - I was more than skeptical before I ordered this. I've tried Otex drops, I've tried olive oil, I've tried Otovent balloons and an ear wax remover more like a soft drill than anything else, very little came close to really getting rid of the problems I was having in my ear: a constant feeling of blockage, muted sound, imbalance of pressure, nothing would do it. At the price point, it's a little steep to the average consumer, but trust me, if I had known the results I would have gotten with this, I would have bought it in a heartbeat. First of all, I highly recommend you use Otex drops or something similar to soften up the wax prior to getting this. It'll make all the difference when you use this device. After attaching the slim tube to the nozzle, I put it in my ear and immediately got some small chunks. Okay, a good start, but it still feels blocked. The sensation was strange and certainly unusual, with it only being after about twenty consecutive bursts that I actually felt something change: an intense, almost crispy sound in my ear. I let the water in my ear run out and lo-and-behold, the blockage feeling fell away. I honestly couldn't describe how miraculous it feels to finally have a proper sense of equilibrium, though I must say that I feel somewhat that my other ear is now blocked and I'll use this on that ear after softening it up with some drops! But honestly, this device is remarkable. It's simple, straight forward, warm water works fine provided you've used some drops and although the sensation is strange, persist and you'll get results pretty much guaranteed. Well worth the money spent! Review: Lifesaver - On average my ears need syringing 2-3 times per year as for reasons unknown to me, they seem to produce a lot of wax, which reduces my hearing. I've probably tried every brand of ear drops on the market but the general consensus among the health professionals I've consulted, is that olive oil is the best solution. Olive oil is good for softening the wax which makes it easier to remove but in my experience, it never unblocks my ears and my hearing usually gets worse once I start putting drops in. Syringing is the only solution that has ever worked for me. My GP surgery no longer provides ear syringing as a service so I've had to go to the local NHS Walk-in centre instead which wasn't a problem initially, but I find it is taking longer and longer to get an appointment. I telephoned them last week and the earliest they could get me in is the 16th January 2020. I considered paying privately (some Boots and Specsavers branches deliver the service) but I couldn't get an appointment earlier than the 16th and at £50-60 it is very expensive. I have a job interview this week so in desperation I took the risk of buying this kit on desertcart. The equipment isn't as sophisticated as what the professionals use and it takes longer but it definitely gets the job done! It unblocked both my ears perfectly and I can hear again. It mentions using hydrogen peroxide which doesn't come with the kit-personally I just used warm water and it still worked. Some reviewers have self-administered-I didn't find that very practical (perhaps I was worried of damaging my ears) so I got my mother to do it for me. It's straightforward to setup but we watched videos on Youtube as well just to make sure it was done correctly. I can cancel my NHS appointment now and when my ears go again in the future (which they will!) I'll have this kit to hand.

Gave me my hearing back after 10 days of blockage!
I received this item today after my right ear has been blocked for the past ten days. With this I’ve had pain on and off, a ringing noise and the sound of blood pumping in my ear constantly. The nurse at my local GP said that it’s just a blockage of wax. I tried making an appointment with the doctors to then get this fixed but due to the pandemic they aren’t offering ear syringing at the moment. I’ve been using ear drops and they haven’t helped with the blockage at all (though I’m glad I did use them, as they made it much easier to get the wax out today) so my only options were to pay to have my ears checked by a private practice or use this kit. Within 10 minutes of using it my hearing was even better than before and I had managed to get gigantic chunks of wax out of my ear. I didn’t use hydrogen peroxide, I just used warm water. The only issue I have is that my ‘working’ left ear sounds blocked in comparison to how clear my right ear is now! I’ll use some olive oil for the next 5 days to soften the wax and then I’ll be using the kit again on my left ear. I really can’t recommend this product enough, it’s much cheaper than paying upwards of 50 pounds for an ear specialist to syringe your ears for you and it’s very simple and relatively mess free.

Amazing product
This is my first review on Amazon - I usually do not write reviews. But this time I have to leave a positive comment. This product is absolutely amazing! I have just done ear irrigation using this product and my hearing is back. I had wax in both ears, have been using olive oil drops for 4 days to soften wax but still could not hear properly. I have used the kit today and ear wax has been removed successfully. I am so happy and relieved. I do not have to dread going back to work tomorrow (I am a tutor so hearing difficulties would be a big issue!). If you are still wondering whether to purchase this kit or not - DO not HESITATE and Buy it.

I can now hear a mouse fart from 1000m away (my ears feel great after this product)
First off, I was REALLY sceptical before buying this product.. I was really against the idea of an amateur like me sticking anything into a delicate part of my body like my ears and potentially causing bad damage. the last couple of months I have been suffering with what felt like a blocked ear, I had tried some ear drops which provided relief for a few days but then that blocked feeling came back once I stopped applying the drops after a couple of days. Then the drops completely stopped working. with the outbreak of 2020 it was really hard to get a doctors appointment especially with something as non major as a blocked ear.. but to me it was important as I was struggling to hear out of it and it was just naturally uncomfortable to be have that “blocked” feeling and ringing in my ear. This product was literally my last resort before trying to force a doctors appointment.. and I genuinely didn’t think it would work.. holy hell was I wrong ! I filled the bottle half way up with warm water (as I had been using drops to soften the wax I didn’t feel I needed to make some kind of solution) and I sprayed about 10 times into my ear.. I then waited about 2 hours and repeated the process.. then I waited another half an hour and did another 10 sprays. After that third session my ear felt 85% unblocked and I could tell the spray had dislodged quite a bit of that wax that was clogging my ear, the next morning I repeated the process of another 10 sprays inside the ear canal and after I had finished my ear was ringing an hour later my ear felt COMPLETELY free from wax and had completely unblocked it ! This was last week and I’ve not had to use it since as my ears now feel absolutely fine but it was worth every penny and I highly recommend it ! One thing I must add to this review is you HAVE to make sure the water is warm as water that’s below body temperature WILL make you dizzy.. it did me anyway and I had to warm the water a bit more so just be warned lol

Very useful for home use
I used to use a syringe with a nozzle that diverted the flow sideways, and it worked well. However this works better. It's easier to use one-handed and the trigger is easier to operate than the syringe was. It contains a larger volume of (warm - do not use cool or cold water in this as it will make you feel disoriented) water and therefore doesn't need to be refilled so often. It comes with a whole lot of tools. In particular there's a bucket to catch the water and wax flowing out of the ear. Personally, I would advise that you simply strip and stand in a shower/ bathtub and let the water flow, it's difficult to get the water to go into the bucket. At a GP surgery, where you are going to remain clothed, then they have a stainless steel bucket which tends to stay in place better and in any case they get through metres of blue roll mopping up leaks, but for home use you may need a different solution - the one i list above. There are also tubes and so on. For solo use (on oneself), use the fixed nozzle not the flexible one. Don't put anything into your ear. I find it works, and i have particularly narrow ear canals which block regularly.

Brilliant!
Within minutes of opening the box I can hear again! such a relief. I' d been trying to loosen the wax with ear oil daily plus a smaller hand syringe for 3 weeks but could only unblock one ear while the other remained stubbornly blocked. This worked first time because of the thin nozzle that fits right into the ear canal (and I only used warm water on its own). I used it on myself and found that continuously squirting to get a near continuous stream of water into the year worked best. After a few smaller pieces the larger blocking piece of wax came out. When the ear is free you can feel the water on your ear drum but it shouldn't be painful - and then there's a rush of dizziness as you regain your balance, but again this is normal I find. I was anxious about spending so much (and to be honest I don't really need all the additional bits and pieces that some with this) but what a relief! Wish I had discovered this years ago.
