A great first book for babies!
This first book is awesome! It is really soft, easy to clean and durable! The story is cute and rhymes nicely. It does grow nicely into toddlerhood with lots of colors and textures. The pictures are cure and colorful and you can use the book as a tool to help with soft play and teaching. A really versatile toy!

Great book
This is a great soft book for babies. The colors are bright and engages my baby well. It's also nice to have the ring to attach to other items.

Colorful and cute
I have purchased several of these for gifts. It is the cutest book, with simple 'sounds' (i.e. crinkly), and fun for baby. The flaps are easy to lift & reveal the hidden animal. The bright colors are so eye catching and the animals have large eyes which catches the child's attention. It has a clip with it so it can be attached to strollers and car seats. Probably the best book I've purchased for baby showers; I get many comments on how much both parents & children enjoy it.

Color contrast is not great
I bought this for my infant granddaughter and she really likes it. It has a clip ring so you can attach it to strollers and carseats. Every page has a crinkly fold down flap that my granddaughter likes to play with. It's a fun book but the colors are a little too dark and there is not enough contrast in the colors to attract babies attention. You can throw it in the washing machine to wash off all the baby drool it's going to get. It's not my favorite baby book because of the lack of color contrast but it's worth buying.

So bright and colorful, great textures for baby!
My little one was 5 months old when she got this soft book and she still plays with it at 14 months old! She absolutely loves the different textures this book has. It has a crunchy texture, soft texture, and the leaves on the pages can be opened to show different forest animals. The quality of material is amazing and it handles biting, scratching, pulling on very well. My baby has thrown this thing around and pulled it all over and it's still as great as it was the first day she got it. It's so bright and colorful, she loves looking at all the pages and different animals. I highly recommend this book for all babies. They will love it just like my little one does!

Peek-a-Boo Forest is a very cute book. See age guidelines below
The Peek-a-Boo Forest book (designed for ages 6m+) is very cute. Has very bright colors, and peek-a-boo flaps that lift away on each page to reveal a cute animal (e.g. move the tree to see the moose, move the leaf to see the owl, etc.). There are five two-page spreads - each asking "Who is hiding behind the [tree or whatever]?" on the lefthand side, then revealing an animal beneath a crinkly flap on the righthand side. The featured animals are a moose, an owl, a bear family, a raccoon, and a beaver. The front cover also features a bird with a raised, fuzzy, crinkly face. Between the bright colors, the repetitive peek-a-boo activity, and the simple text, this seems very age-appropriate for my 6mo old. And more importantly, he agrees - he loves it!Note that these books are designed for different ages (the ones targeting older babies have a bit more of a storyline, etc.). Here are the guidelines for all of the different books in the series as given on the packaging:0m+ Panda's Pals0m+ How do I Feel?6m+ Peek-a-Boo Forest6m+ Emily's Day6m+ Farm Sounds6m+ Little Big Top Circus12m+ The Tale of Sir-Prance-a-lot12m+ Captain Calamari's Treasure Hunt12m+ Baby on the Go18m+ Counting Zoo18m+ Captain Calamari's Color Adventure

Babies fave
This is my 4 month old's favorites toy. She could sit with this book all day.Like most parents, we have bought about 9 million toys to keep her entertained but this one is a real winner. It also helps with tummy time which is a bit of a nightmare for her. She won't be distracted by much when she's on her belly but this is one of a handful of toys that keeps her engaged.

Fabulous for young babies
My LG is fascinated by this. It has been fantastic for tummy time and the variety of images make it really easy to tell little stories based on them. Very tactile and some great high contrast black and white elements for very young babies
