SonicWall TZ350 2YR Secure Upgrade Plus 02-SSC-1845

The TZ350 replaces a TZ215. Process was easy because the TZ350 accepted the configuration backup file from the TZ215. Had more trouble with the MySonicwall service which would not initially download the latest firmware.Activating the licenses was a pain because the procedure in the TZ350 admin would not work. Eventually I the Sonicwall to call home at which point the licenses synced with the MySonicwall account. The user interface is completely different and takes a bit of getting used to, but overall the TZ350 is big improvement on my trusted TZ215’s

Good solid firewall with all of SonicWall's bells & whistles. My only complaint is in the way VPN client is setup. It's an option in the firmware (this issue may have since been corrected) now, possibly so as not to get you dinged on a PCI scan for aggressive IKE on port 500. Any rate when you add it you have to go in and manually create the rules for the VPN client to function correctly. I was unable to get the management through VPN to function at all and as result have to hop on a device at the remote site to manage through LAN interface.

Upgraded the branch offices from the TZ210 to the TZ350. Improved performance with additional security features that will help migrate several line of business applications to the cloud.
