Parental anxiety relief
I LOVE these id bracelets. With 3 young kids, we never go to any crowded venue without them. Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Aquarium, camping, county fairs, festivals, water parks. Having these bracelets on my kids relieves my anxiety. My kids know what they are for and they wear them willingly. We’ve never actually lost one of our kids thank goodness, but just knowing they have these bracelets is priceless. We’ve told them if they get lost to “find a mom” or a police man and tell them to look in their bracelet. My son did separate from us one time at a festival, and though I doubled back and found him within seconds, he already had his hand on his wrist and was looking around for help. Priceless. Obviously, if someone wants to kidnap my kid this bracelet won’t stop that, but most people are helpers and these bracelets enable my kids to be reunited with me in the shortest, least traumatic fashion I can imagine. Anyone with a cell phone can reach me or my husband immediately and we can skip most of the “lost kid” drama. Don’t leave home without them!

Buy Them
I’ve ordered these twice now! Originally for a trip to Disney! They are so simple but helpful. Now I put them on my son when we have an outing like the zoo or other public places like that. I also put them on him when he goes on field trips. He understands exactly what to do should he ever get separated from his group.

I liked; kids hated!
Pros: inexpensive, easy to use, only need a ballpoint pen. I like the feeling of security at large events, and plenty of room to write flight, hotel, or seat numbers on them.Con: My kids really dislike these and pick at them constantly. I think it’s the concept and not the product though. I will probably order more to use until they can reliably recite our phone number.

and i was very satisfied with them
I bought these for our 1 week vacation to Puerto Vallarta, and i was very satisfied with them.... i put these on my kids before leaving to the airport and took them off after arriving back home...... they lasted 5 full days of swimming in the pool and playing in the beach, plus all the showers in between.. i only used one band for each kid, and did not have to replace them. Wish i knew they were this good because i wrote on all of them thinking i was going to have to change them often. the girls were in the pool all day, and they didn't fade.. I used a black sharpie pen. the pics are of the band at the end of our vacation. I had also bought he medical velcro bracelets that amazon has, and its not worth it, they are very scratchy and very small. they were theVital ID Kids Adjustable Medical ID Bracelet -... do not buy these... i had to return them, maybe good for a 1-2 year old, that's how small they are.

Great for typical children, but maybe not for intense ones.
I think these would work for typical children, especially those old enough to understand they need to leave them on. I have a 3.5yo very "spirited" wanderer with limited speech. She recently escaped (we do have other systems in place to prevent this, but one was forgotten that day and she figured that out quickly) and was wandering around the neighborhood, entering someone's home, for a frantic (only for us) 15 minutes. I ordered these in hopes that out would be comfortable enough for her to forget about it and wear it 24/7, changing it as necessary. she's sensory sensitive and has a hard time keeping anything on, even clothing. I put it on her non- dominant wrist and she ripped it off and to shreds in less than 30 seconds. That's not to say these are cheap or easily come off, because they don't! They are pretty strong, I personally would have needed scissors, but if any of you are hoping to use these for intense children or those with other disorders that would cause them to do exactly as my child did, these will not work for you.I am going to put my info on the remaining ones and attach them to reach out the kid's carseats so my info is with them.So these didn't work for my intended purpose. I ended up ordering an "Alert Me Band", which is nylon, personalized, and nearly impossible to remove (or your money back). I haven't received it yet, but have heard so many good things about them about how well they do with sensory sensitive kiddos.

Extra safety measure when traveling
We buy bands like these whenever we go to Disneyland with our young children. The concept is simple, you write your contact info and the child's name on the inside of the band, and then you place the band on their wrist or foot. The message on the outside says something like, "If I'm lost, please look inside." It also has the message in Spanish in smaller text. The bands are the same that you would wear at a concert, so they are hard to get off without scissors. They are also very durable if they get wet. My son wore this overnight once and I thought it would be unreadable after his bath but it was still legible. Some suggestions to make this better:- Don't make the bands as long (or offer smaller sizes). For small wrists, this has to be wrapped several times and my son was able to get the inside end out and crumpled the band.- Lower the price. You only get 6 in the pack, which comes out to $1.15 each.
