I found BulkSupplements when looking for a biotin supplement. Not only the best price, but no fillers!! No capsules!! Just mix in water. I am taking this product in hopes that it will slow down hair loss. Noticing more and more hair in my brush every day. I have only been taking it for a short while and haven't noticed any changes yet, but I will update after a few months. There is enough biotin powder in the little bag for a year or possibly more. I will probably be ordering more supplements from this company in the future.

I wanted to wait a bit after I started taking this suppliment-it's only been 3 weeks & I don't think i'll notice the results I want for a couple months. Mainly, my problem is weak, splitting, chipping, & breaking fingernails. All my life I had the strongest and thickest nails, but the last 3 yrs I can barely grow them past my fingertips, especially on the middle fingers which chip and peel at about 3/4th from the fingertip, despite my trying to keep them short and always covered with strengthened and polishes. I'm pretty healthy & eat right, take lots of vitamins, but I now take prescriptions for high blood pressure, depression, and pain from bone degeneration- one of these has to be at fault. I've been taking some other powders from Bulk Suppliments, in hopes of cutting back on scripts. This company's products so far are a GREAT deal for the money, easy to take in a juice, and you don't get the sick feeling of taking multiple gelatin capsules. This biotin's suggested dose is actually 1/64th of a teaspoon! It's a completely flavorless & finely ground- you can just take a tiny bit on your fingertip from a 1/8 tsp measure spoon, and you're done! I saw a lot of great reviews so I'm looking forward to faster hair growth too- as a stylist, I do a lot of various colors and cuts, but like longer hair. I'm confidant this is a great product, so I will update later! I bought the $20 bag, so I will be taking this faithfully for the next few years. The bag is really thick, resealable & insulated, btw.

Instructions are wrong. It says 1/2 teaspoon is 1 gram, but it's really 2.5 grams. So the correct dosage to get 10 mg is a little less than 1/4 teaspoon.

I lost weight using the biotin supplements I bought from Wal-Mart. So I decided to purchase this bag with only pure biotin powder. I purchased the 100g bag which contains 1298 servings. I'm hoping it will be more powerful than the capsules laden with additives. This product is grainy yet fine and powder like. Absolutely no taste at all. The supplements also had a positive effect on my skin. Less oily and noticeably smaller, less clogged pores. I'm beyond thrilled this is available in this form. Will update review with results.

Not 1000 servings and product is 99% dicalcium phosphate but they can't tell you how much calcium or phosphate is in product.

There hasn't been a BulkSupplements product that I haven't enjoyed. Shipping was quick and they come in a conveniently sealed pouch. I bought this for several reasons. Like most of us know by now, taking a Biotin supplement may help stimulate new hair and nail growth. I have read that it also helps lower cholesterol, improve the health of your skin, aid in weight loss and regulate blood sugar. Since taking ALA from BulkSupplements, I have had some hair loss and it is suggested that it can rapidly deplete the Biotin in your system. Since taking this, I have notice a significant decrease in my hair loss.

I actually purchased this product mainly for hair growth. BUT, it offers much more than THAT! You Amazon customers are educating me on so many products. Thank you. I've been taking the biotin for less than a week. I'm hoping that because it has no fillers or additives that it will work for me. It dissolves very well in water and basically tasteless. I had no idea that biotin was/is essential to your body's well-being, not JUST a hair thing. I haven't noticed any breakouts of acne, which is excellent. I will update this review in a couple of months just to be sure of it's properties. One more thing, in taking biotin, make sure to drink your 8 glasses of water, if not more. As it is, your body will only use what it needs anyway, when it comes to this product. I'm excited and anticipating changes. Update! If you run your fingernail in the female side of the seal and open it, your bag should then close. Voila! It works perfectly! The bags aren't damaged, the seal isn't broken so as to close it. REALLY! Try it. All of my bags seal now! Update! Now that it has been a few days, I can honestly say, as hypothyroidism, menopause and life caused my hair to thin, my head is itching like crazy! Sign of new growth! Yaaaaaayyyyyyy!!!
