I thought this expansion was a great addition to the main Eldritch Horror game. I have really enjoyed Eldritch Horror and it was nice to be able to mix it up a little bit with this expansion without creating too many changes. Overall I would definitely recommend and it is at a great price as well.

Eldritch Horror is an amazing game. Tons of replay value. This expansion is a perfect starting upgrade. Adds more assets, scenarios, etc. which only adds to the content. No new mechanics, just more options!

This is a must buy expansion. If you have to choose one, Forsaken Lore adds so much to the base game and great increase its replay ability.

I got the basic game of Eldritch Horror for Christmas and LOVED it. However the game should probably have had these cards in it to begin with, but I'm not complaining. :-) After a few plays of the game you start to see some "repeats" in the encounter cards and research cards. This inexpensive add-on supplement takes care of that. There have got to be hundreds of new mythos, research, clue, encounter & asset cards in this small expansion (the whole package, box & all, is about the size of a large paperback book). It adds a lot of depth to an already outstanding game!

This expansion pack comes with new versions of many cards in the original game, 1 new ancient one (with mysteries and research encounter cards), and a few new encounter cards, epic monsters, spells, illnesses, assets and artifacts. I was disappointed to see no new investigators.

Such an easy add-on to the base game that increases the versatility and ability to replay the game.

The recipients were very excited to have this as a Christmas gift.

This expansion contains additional cards for each deck in the base game and adds one Ancient One and additional counters and monster tokens. If you know you will like the base game you can add this expansion immediately to it without much effort. The only thing this expansion doesn't include are new investigators, but the base game has plenty already. After playing the base game several times, you may start to see the same cards and this expansion helps with that.

Great expansion to the game, Yig adds in a great old one especially for players who like fighting characters as Yig spans a lot of stuff to kill which is a nice change to the other old ones you have to face. These small box expansions give you loads for your money compared to the larger expansions so Ive bought all of them. Each one gives you new characters usually, along with new encounter cards and items to add a bit more variety. If you play eldritch often like we do I would buy all the small expansions as it add lots of bang for your buck.

A must for Eldritch Horror fans, expands the oringinal game to a new level. Please note that this expansion reprint is a couple of weeks away from shipping (as of 08/12/15). So wait a while instead of paying stupid prices for it.

A good expansion to refresh the game after playing multiple times. Does not add new mechanics or rules just adds cards to the different card piles and a new ancient one along with more monsters.

As always, an Eldritch Horror expansion is first rate in quality and engaging to add to the core game!!

I quickly go addicted to this game, games are long and VERY HARD, expect one win out of ten games. But iits co-op and its soooo fun!! Its as good with two people as with 6 (a whooping 8 players is the max) bigger numbers will make the game longer. Be careful as to not lose the pieces!! This, the first expansion, is a pure fun-booster for the core game! More adventurers and encounters AND extra cards for each of the four starting elders. The new ancient one "Yig" is perhaps too hardcore!
