It’s very lightweight. However, the surface is very smooth and therefore, my laptop keeps sliding towards me when I am working. Also, it doesn’t shield my thighs from the heat generated from the lap top. So unfortunately, I have to search for something else.

This is literally a thick piece of felt (almost like layered or infused with cardboard) with two pads under the board. It works and is the perfect size for my 13.3" lenovo yoga and my wife's 14" yoga. My 15.6" HP work laptop fits edge to edge - but still fits. The hand is nice and it's easy to move with the laptop on it. The price is awesome for what it is - the 5 star review is because the price.

This is a perfect sized lap desk for a 15 inch laptop. I do a lot of laptopping (take that as you will) in bed. I wanted something lightweight and I love industrial felt. The only issue is that it is very scratchy! The edges are not soft or comfortable they are razor sharp and irritate your legs if you are wearing shorts. The cloth bumps on the back do their service but this could be elevated by covering the edges. Otherwise good!

This thing sucks don't get it, better off getting the $30 ones.

You get what you pay for I didn't need it for a laptop I just needed to lift my wireless keyboard up a few inches. I work from a recliner so needed to put the keyboard up just a tad.

I have been trying to find a small lap desk to take with me when I go places-it needs to fit in a bag, backpack, or suitcase easily. This thing is awesome! While it doesn’t have the features of the bigger, solid lapdesks, it doesn’t need to! I just need it to function and be portable, and it’s perfect!

Rec'd in 3 day's. as described. Only negative my lap top slides off. The felt top is not rough enough to hold in place.

Works as intended. The material reduces sliding and the lap desk is nice and light. The positioning of the cushions keeps air flowing, though I wouldn't recommend it for a pillow.My largest complaint is that the edge of the material is a bit rough, and if my arms are in contact with it, it eventually becomes too abrasive. The product would be improved by some kind of edging with a softer material.
