Terrific adapter solution for medium-to-large pedalboards
This is a terrific product. While the price might seem a little high for a power adapter, it actually serves the function of what you might need several other adapters and daisy chains to accomplish. The key to the OneSpot is the 1700mA output. By comparison, the Boss PSA-120 adapter puts out 200mA. Since most stompboxes draw between 5 and 60 mA of power, you could only reliably chain up to about 3 or 4 of them with the BOSS adapter. The combo kit is a great value because it comes with a daisy chain for up to eight pedals, and some other parts for hookups to a 9V adapter or other jacks that I don't use on my pedals. I use it with BOSS and Ibanez pedals and it works great. Best of all, there's no added electric "buzzing" noise, which is a problem with many budget power solutions. Also like how the cable hookups are angled instead of straight - makes much more sense for a tight pedalboard. No more 9V's and no more hooking up multiple cables every time - one simple plug and I'm ready to play!

Excellent Quality that works like it should!
I looked at all of the different kinds of pedalboard power supplies and was going to purchase one of the much more expensive box syle ones. I kept reading the reviews on this one and on a whim just decided to buy the One Spot for now. I am very happy I did because I saved a lot of money. The Visual Sound One Spot will not end up being one to get me by, it will be "The One" I use. I have it powering 6 different pedals and my Line 6 G30 wireless guitar system with absolutly no additional noise. I was very surprised at the quality of the product. Other reviews have questioned the road worthiness of this supply, and as with any gear if you take care of it, it should last a long time, and I have know doubt that this will last. All of the wire is much more substantial then any wall wart I have ever owned. The connection that connects the multi plug to the outlet plug snap together very tightly as with all of the adapter plugs that are included. If this ever failed to work I would not hesitate replacing it. You can go to Visual Sound web site and check out a listing of pedals that do work, And they list pedals that don't work with this!

Runs cool, powers some large pedals, and has worked for me flawlessly
I purchased this to power two Donner, two Behringer and a NUX pedal set and it works perfectly with those with connections to spare. The NUX, in particular, is a power hog because it is one of the larger Time Force pedals, yet still no issues even with all of the pedals active. The chained connectors are 2mm negative center jack, but the set has additional adapters for 9V batteries and reversing the negative center. A big plus is the insulating caps that fit over the connectors that are not used in the chain. This unit runs cool, and the power supply has ample reach to connect to outlets or power strips placed away from your pedal board (or pedal array). If I had one wish it would be for a set of cable management clips (ideally with Velcro bottoms) because the chained connectors can get messy. My best advice is to carefully plan out your board layout because getting it right takes some forethought. Other than that (which is not really a flaw in this power solution) I cannot find a single thing wrong with it.

Good buy
Versus the Godlyke, I'd say this is the better purchase. Though the Godlyke product claims 2000mA of power (2amps), this is slighlty less at 1.7mA (1700mA or 1.7amps). Anyway, if your drawing that much juice using your pedal board, you may want to re-consider what you are using. The product itself is plastic, but seems solid, I believe it will hold up to repeated use no problem. Being plastic though, you do have to be careful not to drop it or have it stepped on or rolled over, etc. I do like the fact that it does have a heavier gauge wire than the Godlyke product and seems slimmer so it will fit more readily into '1 spot' as advertised. The heavier wire means that when someone rolls in their 4x12 cab your power supply cable will have a higher chance of survival. The extender that comes with is good, seems about as generic in length and space between connections as you can get. I only wish it came with two of them. I am using a Pedaltrain Pro board and at 32.9 inches, it will require a pair of the extensions to get to all the pedals. The combo pack also includes some other adapters for those odd pedals that refuse to conform and use 1/8" power connections, some 9 volt adapters for pedals with out any external power. One thing I have not checked yet is the actual output of the supply. A lot of companies think that if their voltage is 'close' to 9 volts, thats good enough. The reality is that this is an indication of poor quality control and lack of intrest in producing a quality product. You will find some higher end devices specifically warn NOT to use anything higher than 9 volts so 9.6 volts isn't 'close enough'. Anyway, while I have not checked the output of the adapter yet, I did fire it up on all the pedals I could power with the one extension that came with and everything worked nice and quiet. It is amazing how having a good quality power source can help eliminate some buzz and other 'noise' from your signal chain. I'd buy this again and in fact I may buy another just as a back up. It is a tad pricey at thirty bucks... feels more like a twenty five dollar item given the all plastic construction but, all in all, a good buy over the competition.

I'm impressed, satisfied, and I saved myself a benjamin!
So I recently purchased the Visual Sound One Spot Combo pack and I must say I am quite pleased. I was checking out some of the higher end products (T-Rex Fuel Tank, Voodoo Lab Pedal Power) and just didn't feel like forking over the money. Maybe one day if I'm going to be playing gigs on the regular and can afford to pay around $200 I'll go for one of the other products, but from what I read on the Visual One power supply I was willing to take a risk (especially for the great price) Currently I'm powering 4 Hardwire pedals, a Dunlop Wah pedal and the Berhinger CS400 (see, I'm cheap sometimes - but effectively so) So I'm already using 6 of the 8 power supply cables. All pedals are powered without issue, without noise, there is no hum or hiss or delay or negative effect WHATSOEVER! I can't say enough how excited I was to see this as a viable option for powering the pedal board I just put together, and when it came through and worked flawlessly, it was all the better. I would highly recommend this product to any beginner guitarist starting to fiddle with effects pedals, or even a moderate or novice player - It's simply a RELIABLE and affordable way to power your pedal board. 2 thumbs up and 5 stars! Rock on

Ingenious, Easy and Affordable
Bought this for my new Pedaltrain 2 pedalboard. The One Spot was compatible with every single one of my pedals and was a fraction of the price of other pedal power supplies. Since the Pedaltrain 2 came with cable ties it was a snap to connect the daisy chain cable to the pedalboard. No loose wires and 1 plug and I'm done when setting up for a gig. To help with transporting the One Spot I took some of the left over velcro from the pedalboard and and wrapped it around the the adapter and its wiring, closing the wrap with a small strip of the opposite type of velcro (it's like the adapter and its wire are in a velcro taco). I stick this to an open spot of velcro on the pedalboard when packing up and the adapter stays in place and is ready for the next show. The One Spot was a great invention from the good folks at Visual Sound (you gotta check out the H2O chorus/echo pedal - it's a must on my board). The One Spot works so well and is so inexpensive that I'm thinking about getting a second one and leaving it in the box so I never get into a jam when this one wears out but I think it'll be around a good long time.

You would be very hard pressed to find a better product.
150 Stars. WHAT an incredible product. It comes with several adapters so it works with stomp boxes (up to 10 of them, using a daisy chain cable INCLUDED IN THE BOX with the OneSpot.) In addition to operating from {1 through 10 inclusive} standard 9V devices, an adapter IS included AND it will push 12 V Line 6 devices as well. I know because I have the Line 6 DL4 which requires this adapter. Pig Hog makes a similar power source to this one BUT as of 9/3/15 there is no adapter to power Line 6 devices. I know because I bought the Pig Hog for it's lower price for that DL4 as the specs are exactly the same as those for this, the One Spot, BUT the Pig Hog does not / didn't anyway, come with the adapter I just spoke of that comes with the One Spot. I may have to edit this later for clarity and coherent because my mind is a little jumbled after a long day right now. The fact remains though that this is an incredible device. It WILL provide power to Line 6 products the Pig Hog will not most likely because the Pig Hog doesn't include the adapter that comes with the One Spot. I think I made that much clear.

Works great for me!
Just got this. Appears to be exactly what I needed. I was just looking to add another level of redundancy and reduce the amount of setup and take-down effort. I am able to run a Boss ME-80, Boss RC-300, and Boss RC-50 simultaneously all off of one power supply, Operation is no different from the PSA-120S and is quiet. I'm not hearing any noise from any of the devices. Reduces the number of power supplies and the need for a power strip for me, which also helps with stage clutter. It came with caps, not shown in the pictures, for unused input plugs. I don't use them, but the included converters adapters, the ones for devices like DOD or Line 6, don't appear to be marked that I can tell, but the actual connector size may self-identify themselves. I see these One Spots in use all over the place. I've seen some really picky, boutique-pedal guys use them even though they would probably buy anything else if they thought it was better. I'll throw my 3 other wall warts in the back-up bag and will post if this one gives any troubles.

Good enough for home use but noise may put off serious buyers.
I've had one of these for a while now and although it is handy for mucking about there is one problem and that is a constant hum that infects any recording or any live playing you might want to do. I thought it might have just been my unit but apparently lots of people have the same issue. So far I've tried a few other power supplies and none of them had this constant hum so I wouldn't recommend these for serious players as this is music we're talking about here, not powering a dishwasher. Save up for a Voodoo Labs or something, if you can afford enough pedals to need something like this then you can afford a decent power supply for your pedals!

Great performance
I got this on recommendation from a pedal company, and it cured my noise problem and freed up 2 outlets! It's expensive for the extra bits you may never need (except for the multi-plug extension), but I'm very happy with it anyway. Very fast delivery from Solo.

Muy bueno!
Excelente producto! No necesitas añadir un noise supressor ya que este funciona a la perfección! No mete nada de ruido a mi pedalera, en la cual añadí 2 distorcionadores, un flanger, un delay y un wah y este producto aún tiene 2 plugs más.

Perfect for 9v pedals on a board
Purchased this to run the numerous pedals my rock star son has acquired over the years. We’re saving a ton on 9volt batteries. And pur smoke detectors all work now. Lots of sizes and polarity tips for almost any device. Good product.
