Great pan for making omlettes. It's exactly the size for making a 2 egg omelette. It's heavy since it's iron. I had no idea that iron pans could be seasoned and become non-stick with vegetable oil. The handle is sturdy. Edges are tall enough to cook chicken or fish for 2 people. And construction quality is good. There was no rusting or holes. It's removable handle is super useful when you are making pizza and want to pull it out of the oven. No need of oven mittens or anything else. 8 months down the line: no trouble with handle, still working perfectly. Added image.

Works excellently as a non-stick pan, better than any teflon coated pan I have ever used. Uses less oil in general. Very easy to clean. I prefer to wash with some soap and water and steel wool, and wipe dry. I don't apply oil. I don't mind a little rusting that happens overnight, just wipe it off with a damp cloth. The wooden handle is a great plus point. BUT this pan is significantly heavy. If you bring it down with force on a granite top it could crack it. So check out other options of pans with slightly less thickness, before buying this, if handling a heavy pan may be an issue for you.

This is a very well-made cast iron skillet, Ideal for small frying and grilling. the heat retention and distribution are excellent and I did not find any cold spots. The handle is very good, sturdy, and attractive. A well-fitting lid with a wooden handle would have made an excellent addition to an already superior skillet.

Product is of high quality and dealer provided clear details of how to season the product both by mail and also as a printout with the product. After seasoning as mentioned, this product became almost similar to a non stick. It's wooden handle is it's speciality and the product has good thickness and is a bit heavy compared to non stick. Looking forward to more such products with heat resistant handle.

I recently switched to cast iron. Was apprehensive about he quality of Indian stuff, so the 1st purchase was obviously Lodge deep,10.25" skillet, which cost me about Rs.3600. It was of course good, but was not fulfilling all requirements, eg frying eggs. So with great trepidation, I bought this one. I was pleasantly surprised. 1st, it was better packed as compared to Lodge ! And had a welcome letter to boot too !! 2nd, kept side by side, one can't make out the difference. 3rd, pre-seasoning is very good and after seasoning it just twice, it is functioning like a non-stick, even while using almost nil oil. I was apprehensive that the reviews may be fake, but no, they certainly are not fake. It is actually good. I will stick to this brand for any new purchase. That's for sure. Keep it up ! 4 month usage review. Looks : good. Finish : much lesser than lodge. Utility : Has a very handy wooden handle, which is of really great help while cooking. Can be easily unscrewed too. Issues : Unlike lodge, this one is literally a rust factory. And it is not like that rusting is uniform. It has developed a few points, both inside & outside, where it rusts. Have to keep it heavily oiled all the time. In retrospect, in a nutshell, it is better to spend a little bit more & go for lodge.

Super! Super product..it's heavy..that's hw a perfect cast iron shud be..i cleaned it first with soap and water and dried it out..added around 2 tbsp of gingelly oil..heated it for some time and smeared it around the entire pan with a half cut onion for around 5 mins, removed the excess oil, wiped it out with a kitchen tissue, broke an egg and made scrambled egg, smeared it around to every corner..again threw it off..boiled some water, threw it, and then made fish fry..came out so well..i am so happy...thank u amazon!!!

Product is really good and food is yum when cooked in it. Not sticky at all. Worth the money. But it's heavy and hence cleaning it a difficult task. If you have back pain or any health issues while weight lifting then this not a good option. But I love it 🙂

Season it well and it serves up as advertised. Sturdy strong removeable handle. Food has not turned black so far. Have been using it over few weeks now. Edit: still going strong, no signs of rust (remember to apply some oil after each wash) Wooden handle is sturdy. No blackening of food, everything is perfect...please follow instructions.

This is a heavy duty pan that fits nicely in size and weight between full size and individual size pans, and its best feature is the extended wooden handle that make it much easier to pick up without burning your hand. The handle came lightly screwed on so it is advisable to tighten it up which is easy. It comes pre-oiled (not non stick, thank goodness) and with maintainance should be a pleasure to use.

Good at everything you expect with a cast iron pan. Mine came with slightly loose handle, but it wasn’t that bad.

i was looking for a quality heavy duty cast iron frying pan with a removable handle and that is exactly what i got. works great and will go camping with me because it packs a bit smaller that a standard cast iron pan

Good cast iron pan, with nice wooden handle. Handle still gets warm.
