This hairstick came packaged in a box with plastic air-filled bubbles. When I found the hairstick it was wrapped in bubble wrap and secured with tape. It was very well wrapped. It is almost as long as a #10 envelope. The pictures show the front of the turquoise bead, both sides and the back. I like the faux leather that holds the bead, but it feels like some sort of resin but it looks good. As you can see in the photos the hairstick is just over 7 inches long, I am 5ft 7in and my hair is 43 inches long and super thick, so it is past my but and to my thighs. This hairstick is long enough to go through my huge bun and you can still see the bead at the top, and the tip at the bottom. Great product, it is better that wearing my hair in a bun on top of my head secured by a scrunchie, or a thousand bobby pins.Also if you notice in the picture my bun is at the back of my head, not on top of my head. This is important because when your hair is very long, you need to wear it on top of your head to keep it from pulling your hairline at your forehead, and if you wear it at the nape of the neck in a bun, again, the weight of the hair pulls the hairline (making the scalp sore at the end of the day) so wearing it on top of the head is almost the only way to wear it. But with the hairsticks, I can wear it at the back of my head and feel no weight, and it doesn't pull my hairline. Most of all it looks classy. Although my hair isn't brushed in these pictures I couldn't wait to use the hairstick so ignore the unbrushed sides. Anyway, this is how I will be wearing my hair all day from now on.Beautiful Hairstick!

I really like this hair stick. It’s very strong and well made. The pink quartz is very nice too.

Product was beautiful, a little thin and short for a hairs stick but my hair is thin so it worked. Until I went to take it out. As you can see wood was split which made taking it out of my long, fine hair a nightmare.

I'm not ready to give up on this little bobble entirely. If it weren't for the unfinished quality of the wood, If give this a 5 star review. As it is, I'll be sanding the stick and looking for a way to coat it so the wood grain doesn't snag my hair anymore. This is a problem all the way down the shaft of the hair stick, and worst at the very bottom tip.The stone, leather wrap, and chain detail are lovely. I'm still of the opinion that it's a good quality for the price and I'm pleased with the way it looks in my hair.

Cute and easy to use! Hold up my thick hair

This was a gift for my daughter. She has near waist length hair that can be heavy. She loves it and says that it holds her hair in place very well. The bead on the end was larger than I thought it would be which makes it all that much more beautiful. Came wrapped in bubble wrap and very secure. Great gift idea.

BE CAREFUL OPENING! I didn’t think to check before gifting and it came cracked and splintered. Person opening the gift got cut. Amazon will not let me exchange for a new one which is frustrating. Bought one at a local shop and then found them on Amazon but I will just buy in person from now on. Other than a bad experience it’s an okay product. Looks nice but obviously not very durable since it cracked during shipping even in bubble wrap. At least I hope someone wouldn’t sell it that way…

This was way better than I expected . I bought the opal ,the light catches the stone at times and the shift of colors are unexpected and beautiful . The craftmanship is very beautiful and well done . It's also very smooth to place into your hair and stays in place easily . I'd rate this Better than the many hair sticks I own .
