This APA style book is a great refresher, especially if you are writing anything peer reviewed.Would highly recommend you get a copy!

The size is just right for an office. easy to locate what one needs to know.

This is an amazing product to have with you if you are writing APA style papers. It is the condensed version of the full-size APA guideline book. It covers just the major areas that a writer May stumble on. The Binding on it is great also, because you are able to open it to the page you need and it lies completely flat on the table. I would highly recommend this to any college student or person that has to write APA style papers and is concerned with making sure that their paper is 100% correct.• side note, this product is the most up-to-date version of the APA style guidelines. As of 2018.

I only gave this 5 Stars because I know it's done professionally and is the book one must have at my University but I never read it and I'll tell you why. Because I bought it in Kindle PC/Android form... don't do it you'll get very angry. You know how your typical Kindle books can widen on the screen for you but it keeps the full page in view? This won't. To read it you have to enlarge it and it goes right off your screen soooooooo much you have to scroll up and down left and right! This was poorly done. So like others, I'll reorder it in Spiral Bound.

Great resource for college students, or continuing education. I've used it a lot in the last 8 weeks for my first graduate classes. I imagine I'll be using it a lot more in the future. The spiral bound pages make it easier to use because you don't have to hold it open or worry about it snapping closed. It has a comprehensive table of contents in the front, and is easy to navigate. Also, it doesn't just cover citations like I originally though, it also covers format and grammar, so it was a nice surprise. Basically, it's extremely useful and I love it!

this book takes so long to get around in... if you are doing normal papers, with regular peer reviewed journals, books, etc as sources, save your money and time flipping back and forth, and just use the internet. This is more for technical stuff i think.. like citing legal or medical documents. or something... things I have yet to cite in my 2 years of grad school... I tried using this many times (as Prof. suggested we get) but its way faster to look it up on APA or OWL..

I bought this for my daughter, and she was able to get her Ph.D with it. I helped with editing, and found it inferior to the one I used years ago. Mine was much more thorough

It's helpful, but, I'm having to keep it open to the page for setting up for my paragraphs, Step 1, Step 2, and so on. I'm also having a little trouble with the new system for References. I can't seem to get it right. And, of course it lowers my grades. I hope I can get things straight by the end of my semester. I's love to get one paper with a 100% on this part.

Well I wouldn't exactly describe this as a fun read but then if you're buying this for pleasure, you probably need to see a psychologist. Of course, if you're buying this you probably are a psychologist, in which case its going to be useful.This guide does exactly what you would expect in that it gives you a clear and easy reference for the APA style. If you want to get your psychological report published (or if you want to get a good mark for your psychology thesis) then this will be invaluable. Clearly set out in logical sections, a good index and, most importantly, lots of useful examples.This guide is easy to read through once or twice to give you a good background awareness of most of the key APA style points and from then on is really easy to refer to if you have a specific question. Where else would you be able to find out the difference betwen an em dash, an en dash and a minus sign when you want to use a hyphen?

I have used and used this book. It's great to have it next to me whilst writing essays. Very clear and easy to understand. I've taken a star off as there's a number of things I have to look up on the internet as they're not covered in the book.

I didnt want the blue manual because it's too big and not practical enough for my needs but this one is very practical, simple and easy too use with all the basic info you need from APA style.

This guide is a complete must for anyone studying degree level psychology or beyond. This almost pocket sized guide has everything you need to know for the APA 6th revision- has quite a few little changes from the 5th edition. I literally have it glued to my side every time I am writing a report/study/essay.Invaluable.

This is a very useful guide for APA referencing at a glance and it does not contain as many typos and errors as the blue handbook.
