Great book
Bought for a teen who is interested in architecture. He read this cover to cover and liked it so much that he put it with his other books for latter reference. Great item.

A great design guide for both architecture and interior architecture students.
This book is full of inspiring information relating to both the re-use of existing buildings as well as new-build projects. The authors have provided detailed discussions of how one can use a site's context, for example, the history, physical surroundings and climatic conditions, to inform and strengthen the design as well as how the design itself can influence existing conditions in a positive manner. There is a strong focus on the important issue of sustainability and some truly stunning projects, both contemporary and historical, have been included to highlight how designers' have tackled issues related to varying conditions.
