Well made, pleased with the results
Hubby wanted me to order a sous Vide after seeing one at his friends place. We are not much of a meat eater.Anyway curiosity got the better of me too. So I did some research on Amazon and picked this brand Hozodo Sous Vide.As always Amazon got this delivered promptly and came well packaged.Unboxing took about 5 mins.Came with simple and easy to follow instructions.I mainly learned to cook with it by watching YouTube videos.I've been very happy with it's cooking performance, and have just a small quibble with the controller.Just remember that if you want your meats to have that "just from the oven/grill appearance' and that extra layer of flavor, you're going to have to throw your cut on the grill, under the broiler or a torch for a few minutes.LOTS of good U-Tube vids for recipes, etc.Temperature regulation has been Very Good at about ±1.5°F of the set temp, which I've also cross-checked with my other digital cooking thermometers.Water circulation seems to be very good, and the cooker is definitely Very Quiet as others have commented.I would also have to agree with others that setting temp and time could be more user friendly. A single button press is a single increment change for either temperature or minutes. If you hold the button to make either setting, the controller quickly jumps to warp speed and you may find that you've overshot your target. The countdown timer LEDs on the "front" of the cooker are moderately helpful and do give you a quick visual reference as to approximately how far thru the cook you are if you're not watching a clock. The digital display is clear and bright. The cooker clamp is practical and functional.I am surprised by how big it looks.Just be judicious when using and you should be fine for a long time.Cleanup is super easy since there really isn't anything to clean up. Ijust hand dry as best I can, then air dry for a timer you are packing it back in the original box it came in.Would I recommend this to others? I'd have to say yes for its performance and quietness.I did not purchase a separate tub for my cooking, but instead have used a couple of larger stock pots that I have on hand, one of those being a thicker walled anodized aluminum pot, one a stainless pot and another larger porcelain steel pot. All have worked equally well. I just cover the top of the pot with a sheet of aluminum foil which helps to hold in the heat, and as the water condenses on the foil, it just drips back into the pot.No problems so far with cooking away the water, even after some all-day cooks. One of my primary reasons for buying a sous vide cooker was that I'd hoped to make less tender cuts of beef more flavorful and not so chewy.

new favorite cooking tool
I purchased this tool because I was curious about sous vide cooking, and didn't want to spend a lot encase I didn't care for it. I love it!The first one stopped working after the second use. The company was great and immediately sent me a new one, and I've been cooking with it ever since. It's easy to use, quiet, and maintains an even temperature. I didn't want something that connects to Bluetooth as I found that service unnecessary.I have made the most amazing ribs, steaks, tri-tip, and roast beef. This is my new favorite way to cook!I also, purchased the cookbook "The Home Chef's Sous Vide Cookbook" by Jeanna Passaro on Amazon. Amazing recipes and a great resource if new to sous vide cooking.

I liked everything about this.
I've just used this for the first time. Easy to set and easy to read. Heated warm tap water to 140F in about 15 minutes and held temp throughout cooking. It's very, very quiet. I don't know what it's longevity will be, but I wanted an inexpensive one to try out. This one is terrific, unless you're looking for wi-fi.

Just as advertised
Best steak I've ever had! I'm usually "well-done" steak aficionado; wife convinced me to try "medium"; so glade I did!
