Levi'sMen's 550 Short

Quality is great as all Levis are. I thought they were slim fit but they are not so the legs are way too big for my sons skinny legs. My fault for not looking better before I ordered. I will donate to someone. But the waist fit perfect, it's a classic Levis short so I will get back on line and order the slim fit Levis shorts.

First 550 shorts but just as good as 550 jeans. Same fit that works well for me.

I'm a self-admitted Levi-junkie... for 30 years. I moved to Arizona (which copied Levis' design in many ways, but the quality & price is often better). In 2019, those old "jean shorts" were all badly ragged-out & no longer fit. Mainly wore cargo shorts anyway, so the "jorts" got ditched. Enter 2021 & I order these...If you're familiar with the 550 (Relaxed Fit) series, then you understand the "fit." These are consistent in fit with the Levi shorts/jeans of previous years. However (watch this?)... the waist size with Levi's has always been notoriously inconsistent; the main reason most Levis fans would "try before you buy." It may SAY "32 or "33," but may fit like a "30" or a "33-34," or anywhere in between.It's only for that reason that I deducted a star. I have extra room in the thigh & seat, but the waist cuts into me (far from stated size on tag). OTHERWISE, you almost can't beat the quality & style of these Levis shorts or full-length jeans. NOTE: Levis' cargos are much consistent in waist size than their denim stuff.LAST (but not least): Masculine. That's what this brand & line have represented since the 1960s. They DO have many great women's & girls' lines, too; but the classic Levi designs STILL have that "look"... Put with a t-shirt, polo, athletic shirt, tank, sweater... it don't matter. It just works. Every time. :)

Comfortable and great length shorts for myself. Wears well and washes without losing shape or color.

These are good quality jean shorts. They are long but my husband is 6'4" so they are perfect for him. I initially ordered a waist of 36 as my husband wears a 36 waist in Levi jeans. I had to return those and size up to a 38" which fit great. All ended well

Levi’s Men’s 550 Relaxed fit short. I’m 5’5” and weigh 138 with a 31” waist. I definitely don’t have skinny legs. I would say that I have a medium build. Straight leg shorts absolutely do not fit me. These relaxed fit shorts fit comfortably in the seat and I have the leg room that I prefer. I think that a slim built person with skinny legs might be better off choosing another fit. I couldn’t find 31” waisted shorts in other brands but Levi’s came through for me. I love the fit and am very happy. I will be ordering more very soon.
